MARIAH CAREY: The Emancipation Of Mimi (Mercury)

She’s just excellent. The sound is so different from the era I came from but I love her style. She picks the songs she can handle and now she’s writing as well so I’m watching her grow.

Well I listened to Glitter for the first time today and it is certainly her worst album. Heres my review
Loverboy(remix)- 8 Pretty good, strong features from the rappers.
Lead The Way: ??? I cant even remember one word from this song
If We: 5 the rapper was okay, those charmbracelet like vocals were not tho.
DMTTYO: 3 a damn mess
Don't Stop: 9 Mystikal bops on this song and Mariah sounds great best song on the album.
All My Life- 5 okay
Reflections: 6 its pretty sub par and the melodramatic lyrics and vocals 2 minutes in does not fit the song at all

Want You: One of the worst songs of her career
Never Too Far: 8 I like it!
