SL is a good video, the choreography is the only good thing, nothing else.
W is million times better, starting from not being cheap.....
And definitely hotter than SL.

don't take me wrong, i didn't dislike the GaGa performance, but it honestly scared the sh!t out of me. it was creepy and I think GaGa should have done the performance another way. She doesn't die in the video...so I don't know why she does it in the performance. It's honestly the most eeriest musical performance I've ever seen in my life. Not that it was bad, but there's just something about it that that really bothered me.
I'm just so used to the old GaGa. Look at her Just Dance video and you'll see how much different she is. That's the GaGa I loved...also, I didn't like the red thing she was wearing. Just too weird.
Overall, it was a well planned performance though. I watched it like 5 times now, but it makes me depressed lol

Gaga was just disgusting at this VMA performance.
Like her craziness is starting to become obnoxious.
Tone it down, sis.

that's exactly how I feel...she is definitely trying to hard and everything else she is doing is not helping, it's actually interfering with her music. You people should have seen what people were writing about her on my Facebook last night. Pretty much everyone thought it was just freaky, crazy, and scary.
She should really focus on looking good too. She can still be unique while looking pretty and making great music. This performance sadly made me like her less. It's just too much for anyone.

I don't think it was nice. If I were her I would've been embarrassed because it made the rumor even more credible.

yeah, and the thing is, she always tries top what she has already done. So she'll be wearing something even more weird than that red thing. It's even kind of offensive for her to wear something like that covers her whole face. It's just kind of disrespectful in my mind. Where did my old GaGa go?? I really don't see Bowie in her any more

I thought Gaga's performance was amazing.
I loved every second of it.
Especially the blood in her eye at the end.

Lil Mama on VMAs run-in with Jay-Z, Alicia Keys: 'I did not mean any disrespect'
by Simon Vozick-Levinson
Categories: Jay-Z, Lil Mama, News
Lil Mama has issued a statement to explain why she ran on stage during Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ “Empire State of Mind” at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards. “I did not mean any disrespect towards Jay-Z or Alicia Keys,” the rapper/America’s Best Dance Crew judge says. “I admire them and look up to them as role models. ‘Empire State of Mind’ had my emotions running high. In that moment I came up on stage to celebrate my two icons singing about NY.”
So there you have it. Lil Mama ran on stage because 1) “Empire State of Mind” is a very dope song (true) and 2) it made her want to celebrate two of her icons…by randomly popping up next to them in the middle of a live television performance. Okay!
Does that explanation work for you? Personally, I think MTV might want to invest in a moat around the stage before next year’s awards, just in case anyone else wants to do any impromptu icon-celebrating. Re-live the head-scratching moment again, below, then let us know what you think.
