The server stops around 3-4am EST everyday for about 5 mins so it can backup everything.

Sorry that I opened up this thread, but I think it's necessary. Look what I got when I was visiting the ''iTunes Music Downloads''-thread..



And when I clicked ''Back to safety'', I had to restart my Google Chrome because it crashed or something. And all of the sudden my AVG scan began scanning? This is important cause my previous laptop crashed because of Malware, and I don't want it to happen on this one, especially with all my important school documents on it

If you read the full message, it says it is from the site icons.iconator.com, not ATRL.net itself. This may be due to one of the ads on the site or someone linking an image from that server in the thread. Either way, you should be safe as long as you do not download anything and continue to run your spyware/malware/virus scanners. I'm sure if the mods found something that was potentially harmful, they would have removed it.

Also, I recommend adblock plus for Firefox.

Exactly , most of the ads that are on the websites contain virus when you click on them , be careful with that because they can obtain all your passwords by this simple process.

That "ads" thing happens to me sometimes when I try to write a quick message ( the ads block that part ). So I have to go to "post reply to thread" to post the message that I want.

In other pages , they appear as Pop ups , but fortunately I don't see that here

i agree,

a coupe of years ago, i remembered the Your Top Ten section had sticked threads or somthing, so they dont close or flop down the page, it was the most pointless thing ever. since people just left, and they wasnt being updated. i think is why they wont have anymore sticked threads.
