2 albums would be awesome! But HR would never fund all that.

Hilary Duff: Recording of new album will start in MAY!
Hilary Duff
About DIGNITY
Given the title and Hilary Duff's sophisticated, uptown-girl look on the cover, 2007's DIGNITY seems to announce that the teen starlet is all grown up. Yet the album is still full of effervescent dance-pop, as fresh-faced and catchy as fans of Top 40 and commercial bubblegum would expect. The production techniques, complete with electronic flourishes and nods to club music, are well crafted, to be sure, but DIGNITY isn't about cutting-edge sounds or thumping club bangers. Instead, the electro-beats reinforce the pop song structures and make the singalong tunes shine.
The most sophisticated thing about DIGNITY may be its lyrics. Gossip-mill regulars will be able to parse references to Duff's much-publicized entanglements with other commercial pop stars, but what stands out is Duff's mature response to her life's tumult. The album plays like a confession, but does so with a cool head and a clear eye, underscoring the album's title without detracting from the music's inherently fun, bouncy style.
Biography
Hilary Erhard Duff (born September 28, 1987) is an American actress, pop singer/songwriter and entrepreneur. After gaining fame for playing the title role in the television show Lizzie McGuire, Duff went on to have a film career; her most commercially successful movies include Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003), and A Cinderella Story (2004). She earned $15 million in 2005 and $12 million in 2006 and 2007.
Duff has expanded her repertoire into pop music, with three RIAA certified-platinum albums and over thirteen million albums sold worldwide. Her first studio album, Metamorphosis (2003) was certified triple platinum and she followed it up with two more platinum albums, Hilary Duff (2004) and Most Wanted (2005). Duff's latest studio album, Dignity, was released in April 2007 and was certified Gold in August 2007. So far, the album has shipped 907,300 copies worldwide.
She has also launched a clothing line, Stuff by Hilary Duff, and an exclusive perfume with Elizabeth Arden. Duff and her mother were listed as producers for the movie Material Girls, and she will soon produce her sister's debut album.
Her upcoming films include the 2007 action thriller War, Inc., animated comedy Foodfight! and independent films Greta and Safety Glass.

Reach Out plans/Album recording on May
1. Hilary's been getting a lot of questions about her music from her podcasts & has tried to narrow it down to only a few, which she will answer in the coming weeks/months.
2. Recording may start in May.
3. "Reach Out" IS the next single. Due near late June. Other "Dignity" songs were never considered.
4. The plan is either to release "Reach Out" to Chr/Pop radio stations first, & send the remix with The Prophet to Chr/Rhythmic radio stations, or release the remix to both Pop & Rhythmic stations.
5. The concept of the music video is being looked at right now. Hilary's taking the time to read through them herself, & try to figure out which one is best to continue her "sexier" image.

Reach Out will be the next single!
"Reach Out" is the confirmed next single from Hilary Duff. I also emailed Vission & he says that it's definitely the next single coming out in a few months. I finally got in touch with the HR source earlier tonight & he also said that this is the next single, due at the end of June, at the LATEST.
But yeah, Vission co-produced 5 of the tracks on "Dignity," co-wrote 3 of the tracks on "Dignity" & did a remix for "Reach Out." So yeah if you don't believe my source, you can DEFINITELY believe him.
Let's hope it doesn't get canceled.

Will there be a summer single?
Questions Asked:
1. Is Hilary still against promoting on Disney Channel?
A: Yes, she's adamant about not being associated with them again.
2. Does it look like she'll have much control on her next album?
A: Hollywood Records is definitely taking a big step back in, & this seems to have caused a rift on when Hilary will start working on her album. It keeps getting pushed back & as of now, there is no set recording time for what HR wants. Hilary, on the other hand, is still writing for the album.
3. Have any musicians contacted her on working with her as of late?
A: There's been a lot of producers & a couple of rappers here & there that have shown interest, but so far, no actual singers, for this album. Most artists don't even know she's starting a new one.
4. Will they release any new singles anytime soon?
A: From Hilary, nothing is planned at this time, they were thinking of doing a summer single to be released in May or June, but like most other projects "in the making" with HR, it'll most likely be canceled.
5. Hilary's been approached by other better labels recently, any idea on why she won't make the jump?
A: I can't get into specifics about why she won't & I don't even know for sure, but I can tell you that Hilary was looking into new labels very recently. She's already gotten offers from two (one, during early production of "Dignity" & the other earlier this year). She may or may not make a jump soon.

HAPPY
Hopefully she will really start recording in MAY, or else the album release will be later than expected.
Reach Out should do well, because it replaced the goodness of Happy.

Hilary had a recent shoot with Allure Magazine. I'd say this is her most goergous shoot this year, and Allure's best!
Hilary Duff, exclusively on Allure Magazine. (behind the scenes, etc!)
Clean-cut reputation aside, Hilary Duff says she's no "perfect prude girl. I like to do normal things that 20-year-olds do." Well, any other 20-year-old with two movies on deck; a new album, Dignity; and a multimillion-dollar empire, that is. View exclusive outtakes from her shoot with Michael Thompson in New York City. For more photos and the story, "Good to the Bone," pick up the May issue of Allure, on newsstands now.
Inspired by the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde, Allure creative director Paul Cavaco dressed Duff in a Marc by Marc Jacobs sweater, a dress by Derek Lam, a scarf by Chanel, and a beret by Kokin. Makeup artist Brigitte Reiss-Andersen modeled Duff's makeup after Faye Dunaway's in the movie, while Duff posed in a "sexy Midwestern way." Reiss-Andersen used a "ton of lashes," a dab of white-gold shadow in the inner corners, a blonde brow gel to mute her eyebrows, and a pink-peach blush. Reiss-Andersen created "barely there" lips with a dark beige pencil because "Hilary's a gorgeous girl. I wanted that to come through."
Duff is now taking on more adult roles: She plays an "oversexed" Eastern European pop star in War, Inc., and a girl obsessed with suicide in Greta. Is she worried this will alienate her Lizzie McGuire fans? "I don't want to restrict myself from doing things that stimulate me just to make them happy...if they continue liking me, that's cool, but I don't want to cater to them. I'm not 13, 14, or 15 anymore." Here, Duff poses for Thompson.
Although she says: "I'm not good at loving the red carpet and knowing how to pose the way you're supposed to," Duff has had boyfriends in common with Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Ritchie. At 15 she began dating Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, then 24. With almost a decade between their ages, "He was never nervous, like, 'I could get arrested,'" she says. But does admit, "It looked bad." These days she's with New York Islanders center Mike Comrie. Duff discusses the shoot with Allure creative director Paul Cavaco and hairstylist Serge Normant. Growing up in the spotlight, Duff felt pressure to diet, but says she's eased up. Duff felt the scrutiny of her appearance: "I don't think I ever looked sick, but I really watched what I ate. You lose touch when you're so obsessed." Duff was number seven on Forbes magazine's "Richest Celebrities and Stars under 25" and has a Barbie made in her likeness. "[Mattel] would send over boxes of Barbie heads that looked like me. It was so bizarre." Regardless, she's managed to avoid becoming another self-destructive young star. "I don't want that attention. If I can't get any from what I'm doing now, I'll figure out a different plan."
