Louis has one of the weakest categories ever and none of them have been in the bottom 2 yet. It's so easy for white males with limited talent to win this show
Anyways, thankfully we had no shocking elimination this week. Just an elimination that needed to happen.
The producers clearly wanted Abi out before Sam C. Giving her the death spot while giving him the pimp spot basically sealed it up. Anyone that landed in the bottom two with Abi were guaranteed to be kept in.
So far this season has had similar turnouts to the X Factor Australia season as I think I mentioned previously. However, instead of one girl out, two girls were gone by Top 7 at this time. As with the U.K., the Australian version cleaned out the Over 25s category quickly so that the strongest one remained. The groups had an R&B girl group that was eliminated first out of the three groups. In the Australian version, the next group got eliminated in the Top 7 round, but here, they got cleaned out just as quickly as the Overs.
What's most alarming is that in both the U.K. AND the Australian X Factors this year, the Boys Category has been completely safe for FIVE weeks in a row. And another interesting thing to point out is that the boys in Australia were mentored by Ronan Keating, who happened to be a part of Boyzone, who Louis Walsh managed, and Louis has the boys this year as well. Anybody sense black magic going on?
This weekend the acts take on their most spectacular theme to date. Thats right, its Great British Songbook week, which means our finalists will be celebrating the best of British music through their performances.
So feast your eyes on this impressive list and tell us your thoughts! Then get ready for some right old classics on Saturday and Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
Comon, every year same song choices over and over again. They need to modernize song choices, look at X Factor Australia for example, their shows look much more current and relevant due to modern song choices.
