It did go quicker! Obviously, still quite a schlep, but only about five hours from start to finish this time. We were actually on a really good pace at the start of the ceremony, until connectivity issues and absent presenters threw us off. Every year is a learning experience and hopefully an improvement!
Taylor Nation still seething that so many critics called Emotion the album 1989 wanted to be. Remind me again which one had a higher Metacritic score and finished third in the Pazz & Jop poll.
I meant to give Emotion a listen this weekend but I only heard the title track before I had to go. It was amazing and if that's how the rest of the album is too then it deserves the praise. 1989 still slays though.
