GSC were the best games in the series, tbh.

Not really, they are strong against fighting, bug and plant types, and they are inmune to ground type.
They are only weak against rock, ice and electric types.
There are plenty of strong flying type pokemons.

Psychic pokemon mostly can learn Psychic and Shadow Ball badass
and a few Poke can learn Crunch at the same time too
