I actually cried (a grown man up in my kitchen nook with some cereal watching her videos on MTV after her death). I've only cried 3 other times as a grown man.

i remember waiting to exhale on tv (6-9 months after it was released).

I see an attractive women that had striking moments but overall was pretty standard and wasn't as appealing due to her flat chest and her diva attitude and she appeared taller than she is.

Mariah is GORGEOUS and at the start served this tease element that drives men crazy

meltdowns are really what cause the GP to turn against an artist more than any flop song or album, like JLO takes her flops on the chin and people love her even though her albums dont sell anything, compared to Gaga or Demi etc

See I think this has a lot of importance. I feel Rihanna is happier than ever, and she's definitely in her comfort zone with the material of ANTI, therefore that feeling resonates a lot with the navy too. No shade, but I think if I Rihanna would've had meltdowns like Gaga had in the ARTPOP era, me as a fan I would've been messed up and confused too.

I always thought it was apparent that Mariah was facially breathtaking and Whitney was good looking. Like someone's mother or auntie that keeps her appearances up.

Yeah Whitney definitely had hits in different areas but Mariah was able to branch out more into hip hop and other areas with more versatility.

Both legends but I don't like how people put Mariah and Whitney in the same category as if Mariah wasn't an artist and just a great singer.

I'd still like to think album sales and touring is important in terms of how much an artist makes but as far as the GP goes your spot on.
