But you're getting much better with it after just 2 lessons (fefe's and mine), so it's clearly not that hard to learn

Nnn I didn't bold "speak" because I thought you weren't allowed to bold two words in a row omg I'm so dumb It doesn't help that I use big words with syllables equivalent to the entire population of China
Words like "teller" and "ever" and "together" are definitely what I struggle with the most, maybe because it ends with the "er" sound so I immediately correlate that with "stress" or whatever it's called

You're being really disrespectful to the other contestants with this attitude and I'm not having it. I already told you, you're lucky that you don't have significant problems finding meter and pace, but the majority does. It's not like I'm giving an hour long speech, I just posted an example. If you're not interested, move along.

A historic moment on ATRL for sure when all is said and done there needs to be some big cross-forum celebration or something. Idk what but I know you'll think of a grand finale

You have a very natural skill at keeping your meter in check. Iirc, almost every line in your song was perfectly executed
And, btw, please don't think I actually bold your entries to check your meter. I just say the lyrics in my head while I read and if it sounds right, that means you're on point.

And ATRL's servers is acting up again I'm over this place. None of these pages are loading sigh

I never focus on it, like I don't read every line and go "Oh, yeah meters great!", I just think if it sounds right to me, it will to everyone.

That's what makes you a natural, because it just so happens that what sounds right to you actually sounds right to everyone.

Imagine though you getting a yard stick out and measuring everyone's meters
I see you Teacher Teller.

Like - to me - it's e ver instead of ever because it sounds bet ter when it ends in a constant sound instead of a vowel.. like it's sound nicer and more pleasing to the ears so I do it like that

O good. I'm thinking for this next round, I might just purposely check to make sure it;s on poinT, though. I'm legit curious now.

Ugh, that would be so annoying, I would never
But seriously, it's only round 2, so I never take off more than 0.2 for meter issues. I just like to point them out because, as unimportant as it sounds, meter is what seperates a songwriter from a depressive teenage girl writing fanfic poems about moderately attractive Nickelodeon twinks.

Think of Taylor's song and hear how her voice emphasizes the syllabes
We are Never ever ever getting back to ether.
Do you hear it at all?

Your songs have perfect meter. That's why I even do these essays in my reviews and that's why I point out annoying stuff like meter. Cause you know that if I didn't point it out to you, you don't have a problem.

This is what annoys me like I know EXACTLY where you're coming from but, to me, I don't get why the "ver" part isn't the one stressed cause - to me - it sounds like neverrrr even though I know the first part is the one that should be stressed.
