i know how to do it in black and white not sure how to do colour (if im thinking of the same thing)
1. open image and duplicate the layer
2. 'colourize' the layers (one in blue, one in red) im pretty sure it's in the hue and saturation bit in photoshop but i use GIMP coz i am a poor boy
3. change the top layers opacity to 50% and it should look black and white
4. move the layer to the side slightly and then flatten and crop and it should be good
