The syllabes are miscounted. I'm not referring to the total number of them, I'm referring to where you put your stressing.

I never gave up even though you were a fool (stressing on 2nd, 5th, 8th and 12th syllab)
Still I moved on hoping you’d come back through (stressing on 1st, 4th, 5th and 10th syllab)
But the pain is strong I can see you’re hurting too (stressing on 3rd, 5th, 8th, 12th syllab)
I tried to read it in 3 different ways, 3 different paces and the syllabes didn't work. It's not the main problem of the song and I only took off 0.2 or sth for it.
Oh, and I'm not listening to the Joe Jonas remix of I Bet, even though Joe >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Nick, because I Bet is the worst song on the album.
TheCheetahwings - Burn : I liked how spontaneous that was and I appreciated that you didn't use the title in an obvious way, but the outcome wasn't necessarily good. The rhyming isn't tight, some lyrics are awkwardly phrased, the pace is a little off... The worst part however is how the contradiction in it. You said "I'm so insulted, I'm bothered by it" and then 2 lines later "I'm not hurt by what you're saying", so I'm a bit lost.
Well, the song was supposed to have heavy sarcasm, so when I say "I'm So insulted" it's not supposed to be literal. (Same with "How will my life ever go on?" which is supposed to be ott and clearly not serious). Clearly the sarcasm didn't read very well though . Thanks for the feedback.
