I'm not comparing. But if we don't count the soundtrack Rih spent as much time working on Battleship as on Home. And once again it doesn't look like she cares about HOME album as much as ppl think.
Oh and yes Dreamworks can force her to pushback any musical release if it's her in Contract. Which Rih team might have agreed to considering they didn't expect a pushback.

She never really spoke about Battleship till release yet she basically promoted it more than UA&TTT
Once again.. there's a reason why contracts exist.
Pharrell did TWO soundtracks for Dreamworks for Despicable Me, and Despicable Me 2 and Pharrell didnt do **** to promote the album rather than release ONE single after the song catch on. 1 single out of 2 albums. Y'all are making it seem like she HAS to record and promote the songs like a full fledged studio release. Her management and label is only concerned about R8.
She was still recording Unapologetic 2 weeks before its release.
There is no legit proof that she shot the album packaging but I don't think she randomly captioned the pics "R8" if it wasn't R8-related. She's not doing this for attention, or else she would caption more of her pics with "#R8", if not all her pics.
There's also more than 1 legit proof that the R8 experience thing was a video shoot for the single.
