The thing is though, what is left of the songs she recorded in the past.
- Some of it will be too dated to touch
- Some of it is probably taken back by either producers or writers
- Some of it may be restricted by Universal Music, since she switched to Sony
For the sake of her career it is a MUST to release an album in the US, but overall since it is already messy, she also could scrap it once again.
I wonder if her label would even invest in a completely new record in the US. BFL is already done, including the leftovers we know the names of and possible other tracks. The photoshoot is done both the actual album shoot, as the YL behind the scenes which got used for the International cover + Run single cover.
It will be an interesting time for our fanbase to see what kind of direction she will take. Melissa is gone, but she is still under the same management team. The album is dead WW, but there are no signs of what the next move will be.
Atleast Cats adds something to her overall career.
