Yeah, but it's still a mullet. Anyway, Judas' main problem was not the sound itself, but the lyrics and the context of release. The song could've been the same instrumental with Gaga singing about partying hard, etc and it would've performed much better.

It was a combination of both, imo. Screeching vocals, heavy guitars, reggae like accent that no one could understand. It sonically and lyrically pushed too many buttons. Also keep in mind that the song did start recovering in radio and sales but a few days later TEoG stole its thunder and when Judas was first released BTW was still in the Top 20.
