I still think Work can be a big hit in America with video and Spotify. Outside of that, it won't be bigger than FFS.
I still can't deal at her not removing the single version yet btw.
That's because it lost its 1 exposure. Work was falling just like that yesterday when pillowtalk replaced it...
True but it doesn't change the fact Zayn is falling faster atm.

Newer song? 1 day? Anyway Zayn has a banner on iTunes + a video out. But he's not doing bad, has still a nice lead on other songs + it can rebound with growing airplay.

If you are comparing a debut song with that of Veterans then I guess it's purpose is served....
The fact Drake is going so hard with an okay song that's not even a technical single. Gosh, imagine if he released a single-worthy song instead that had as much appeal as Hotline Bling.
Even though Take Care was his peak, it feels like he's really only gotten bigger. His mixtape being the best-selling Rap album of 2015, Hotline Bling being the biggest hit of his career, and there's more demand for him than ever. More respect for him than ever too.

I don't think Hotline Bling felt bigger than HOWGH, but I agree he feels bigger than ever.

HOWGH still feels like his signature smash.
Hotline Bling was a literal cultural phenomenon, how did it not feel bigger?
In addition it was bigger globally, it has 400M views on YouTube (HOWGH only has 94M to date ), and the sales are nearly same (2.6M after two years, versus 2.0M after six months) despite one being in a better climate two years prior.
Hotline Bling has also had more longevity on Hot 100 (18 weeks in T10 versus 13 weeks for Hold On).
