Its not that I think Soundz is lying or making his **** up, Its that he shouldnt be telling everybody the plans for the era because thats not in HIS PLACE to do so. Its Ciara's or JIVE's.
And TGJ is most likely right about the pushback, Jive may have its flaws as a label but they arent dumb enough to release the album next month. RAPUP [The more official site] probably hasnt said a thing about it yet because they havent been given the greenlight to do so since they work more off direct Label sources. This information probably just wasnt suppose to be known yet.
Umm as far as the blogs go, the blogs that are on Jives promote Roll have been getting constantly updated with Dates/Next Singles. They already know they just have consents with labels not to say.
October? Seriously? I could understand early September, but October is too long away. "Ride" is doing well and "Gimme That" could be her pop hit if sent out by the end of the month. Her label is so dumb. They want her to fail.

A couple weeks difference shouldnt make you anticipate the album any less, Especially if you want the BEST for Ciara.
I want the album ASAP too but I also want it to do well and be a commercially successful Era and theres really no way the August 17 date could have stuck. Some more sorting-out is needed before the album can get released.
There's no excuse for an October date, and that's not a couple weeks either. It's only July 19th. 2nd singles can be sent to radio tomorrow, next week, anytime. The only pushback that would be acceptable is the first week of September or something like that.

I just don't like the fact that they set dates, she's on tracks yelling out "August 17th", there's hype/buzz around it, singles doing well, and no leaks (except the ones that were leaked purposely) when they know they aren't prepared.
Maybe a pushback might work... but I doubt it will bring in any more numbers than a August release date. Captain Planet said it best.
Wasn't the album pushed up a week? I thought they pushed it up because of "Ride" climbing the charts. What are they expecting from this single? For it to go top 10?
