Don't misunderstand me, I do think it's a buzz single. But I would love it to be the lead. It's so brave of her to put this out and I think with the right targeted promotional opportunities the song could smash.
It's perfect for this time of the year also. Fresh, minimal, chilled. She can put out a smash in summer if she wants to. This is the perfect start to an era and it warms people up to her talent once again. And it's also a great sequel to both Stay and The Monster which are still fresh in the GP's mind I'm sure.
But at the same time all those people going "career growth" "real music not the EDM noises" will say that it was just a buzz single if it doesn't do well and delete it from their playlists.
