(1.0) Sentiments of rejection are well portrayed in this painful experience of yours, using water as a theme to match the sound of Clean. The focus of your essay, which is mainly the upper part, recount your struggle to wave back into a circle of friends, to later decide to cut off your ship from theirs. Coincidentally, as Swift sings 'ten months... ', you are listening to this song exactly ten months after drowning your friends in a distant memory. The last part of your account is an aftermath of the whole essay about how positive tides started to affect your life based on your decision. But those positiveness had already impacted your life before listening to this song, because you earlier mentioned that you had stopped thinking about them and moved on. Listening to this song therefore did not inspire any change for you, but is only a remembrance of how the past changed you, as well as a realization of the dark waters you used to tread on, and got away from. I think you should review your entries before submitting them because there were words missing, and a lack of punctuation marks making it difficult to read.

If contestants describe the songs each round, they'll have less words to write about what the challenge is asking and this is where it becomes a weak essay. I prefer essays that answer the challenge concisely without going into too much details about other unrelated factors.

Yeah I know you're right. Sometimes I just like being super detailed, to a fault I guess.

Choose The Album, Then a Song 7: Round Seven
Welcome to the seventh season of ATRL original game
Choose The Album, Then a Song
Season 7 is officially on track!
Well! The top 10 is upon us! The ten albums are ready to play for their lives because no mistakes will be tolerated now! They'll have to give their all to stay in the competition and this won't be an easy round... And in the end, how many will leave us? 2? 1? I'll let you think about that.
Are you ready?
I know not everyone is familiar with this tournament so, for the newbies, here it goes a little explanation!

Choose The Album, Then A Song is a wide game. As the title says, all you have to do is pick an album and make sure you know it quite well because, round after round, you're going to pick a song from your album that best fits into the challenge... That's right, each week you're going to have a themed-round and you'll have to, not only, pick a song from your album but you're going to have to talk about it. You should pay attention to the writting part, especially if your album isn't that known.

T H E R U L E S
For six seasons this game had its ups and downs and to make sure the 'downs' part won't happen again, I had to create a set of rules. So if you're signing up, this means you agree to:
1. DURING THE VOTING PERIOD, YOU'LL HAVE TO CAST YOUR VOTE (OTHERWISE YOU'RE PENALIZED);
2. YOU CAN NOT ASK FANS/FRIENDS TO SAVE YOUR ALBUM;
3. YOU MUST DELIVER YOUR ENTRY IN TIME, OTHERWISE YOU'RE ELIMINATED.
4. YOU CAN NOT USE THE SAME SONG MORE THAN TWICE;
5. IF YOU USE A SONG IN A ROUND, YOU'LL ONLY BE ABLE TO USE IT AGAIN THREE ROUNDS AFTER.

Actually, after rereading everything I do have something to say,
The challenge says something that InspireS change for you not inspirED
So I don't know why the fact that I started that change before I listened to the song would matter. To say that I learned my lesson and that's that is oversimplifying the issue. Just because I recognized the issue doesn't mean I completely "learned" the lesson.I had not forgotten them, I said I tried to but you can't just decide to forget someone'(s) you have more than half a decade of history with. I also wasn't over it. I'm still not.Just like an addict knows an addiction is bad for them doesn't mean they can just decide to stop being addicted ( ie. the entire metaphor of the song). I was gonna use this polaroid https://40.media.tumblr.com/4c7756a0...ibh4o1_500.png
But I thought the other one summarized my essay better. Fatal mistake in guess.
I never thought of it as positive in fact I said it was destructive but listening to the song and connecting my experience with hers brought a new understanding like maybe I didn't just ****up everything, maybe there's some good to this after all. I didn't really think of it as positive till then and it encouraged me to continue, not backtrack and actually apply those lessons.

I love a good sick beat to dance to but that doesn't mean I'll give a bad score just because someone sent a ballad.
Dollas, you better start writting your entry, you won't get a third chance

Also Pedro I think that if you're gonna dock me ten points for my lateness; which is harsh but fair, then I should get the 10 from Igor that he said I deserved if not for my lateness. Of course I guess that's up to Igor if he agrees or not. I'm not trying to be difficult or rude or anything but I don't think it's fair to punish me twice for the same offense.

Tell me.
I am thinking between three songs but I'm not sure which one would be the best fit.
I remember in the first round I chose Roar then several people voted me off because they thought Dark Horse would be a better fit.

I think I know which song I am picking, it's surely my favorite instrumental off Shakira's album.
@Dollas: the results are up though, i'd have to edit everything. but it's up to igor

@Pedro okay, thank you
Question, is this just about instrumental purely or does it include things like vocal production
Basically should I continue listening to karaoke versions on youtube?

YES. There was a similiar round last season and it was probably my best entry to date, so looking forward to writing this one.

You better not because we already did the dance song round.
This round is about the music in the song, doesn't matter if it's slow or fast or loud or toned down or simple or over the top. As long as they sell it well why that is the best instrumental the album has to offer. It doesnt have to fit a particular mood, situation
or purpose.

You can send the original version of the song, I believe. Doubt you'll be able to find every instrumental of the album.
