Top Artists of the 21st Century
Now when I say 21st Century that means it doesn't include Michael Jackson or Madonna pretty much it depends. It basically starts with the year 2000 and ending where we are today so I would have to say these are the top artists:
Usher (obvious)
Justin Timberlake (obvious)
Beyonce (obvious)
Nelly (Country Grammar was huge, Dilemma was huge, also has 4 #1s not to mention he had a song #1, not to mention he not only raps he sings (example: Over and Over with Tim McGraw)
50 Cent (sadly but true)
Kanye West (he kind of resurrected hip hop starting in 2004 with College Dropout and following with more classics as Late Registration and Graduation)
Jay-Z (Perhaps the best MC of all time, an intellectual rapper that is commercial as well, Kanye looked up to him)
Christina Aguilera (Dirrty)
Britney Spears (Toxic)
On Deck:
Chris Brown (only 1 #1 but still waiting on Kiss Kiss)
Ne-Yo (So Sick, a truly amazing song)
Nelly Furtado (2 #1s)
Ciara (1 #1)
Rihanna (2 #1s perhaps 3 depending on HTILY)
