She tried to be a teen pop sensation with Genie In A Bottle, like Britney with ...Baby One More Time, but teens always wanted more from Britney because she was more appealing. She tried to be sexy with Dirrty, like Britney with I'm A Slave 4 U, but she ended up as a skank and she only lost fans. Back To Basics was a different strategy, Britney was going through her period of the terrible decisions so Christina thought it was time to be original because the battle was "won" and Britney was over. After that her focus was on copying Gaga, with Keeps Getting Better, and she thought she was going to be the star of the 2008 VMAs, except that Britney got all the attention by only showing up and being the winner of the night. With Britney's comeback, Christina magically started to flop, she kept the strategy of copying Gaga with Bionic and she flopped extremely hard and couldn't even go Gold with the album. Lotus was going to be her "rebirth", but it was only a reflop. She doesn't want to continue with her career, because she can't stand being second best (or actually, the worst), she wants to lead and she won't do that ever again. Sad story.
