I hate grinding games, it was okay when I was a kid but now I'm too ****ing busy to sit there 30 hours leveling up. That's why I use emulators so I can speed through that ****. Unfortunately that only works for older games.

I really hope that the Infinite Undiscovery gameplay comparison with Star Ocean 5 means that we'll be seeing multi-party battles.

I never played the former but I watched some videos of it and I'm flabbergasted multi party battles haven't become a thing yet. They look awesome af.

Anyways I ordered Atelier Shallie. Can't wait. This'll be my first Atelier game so I'm excited.

Can someone that's played Suikoden 3 explain what the **** is happening with this gameplay? I kinda understand the row battling, but what am I supposed to do w/ these skills?

I had one DQ game on gbc and it was cute. I wish the 3D Games were more like it so you could have a cute custom party

Mess I just had to grind one time in DQ6 because of the mid-final boss difficulty curve and then I became so over leveled that the jobs don't level up anymore Most of the DQ games are designed to be beat at lv 30-40, it's the post game what makes you grind. You can create your characters in DQ9 too.

Anyway, DQ7 keeps on giving. Just met a man that changed his outfit into a playgirl one in front of the main party and the most masc man in the group said something like "if he hid those manly hands... I would still hit it"

I'm playing Tales of Hearts R rn and it's wonderful, feels very old school but it's still rewarding if you actually spend time understanding th battle system, love the character's designs

Persona 3 is weird for me. I want to go back and play it, but not being able to control your party members in P3FES makes the game 10 times harder. But then I hate how they made the non-dungeon exploration in P3P into static images with a damn circle to move around with.

If only they had released a Persona 3 Golden.

nnnn I agree. That's what's really bugging me.

Yukari is stingy as ****. If half of the party isn't at 50% or below she wont use media/mediarama/mediarahan but instead use one on HERSELF. It's like BITCH I need jur HALP!

Right now what's happening to me is I'm in an area where the shadows have really strong multi targeting strength attacks and they knock me out pretty quickly. I think I'm just gonna have to go back to a lower door and grind the hell out of this game. For most of The Journey I was overleveled. This **** aint gonna cut it though.

Mess just play the PSP version, the menu navigations are well implemented and makes going through the game much more easier. Just play that and then jump into the The Answer if you want to complete the story, but it's not worth it, just watch the cutscenes and save yourself from that mess.

****ing MESS at Dragon Quest 6: [spoiler]so, I just reached the final hours of the game and it is revealed that one of the party members, Milly, is the sister of the protagonist's rival, Terry, who ended up possesed by the demon lord. So, that's somehow okay, but why does she NOT recognize her brother even if you are constantly seeing him in like every town?

I found Milly's hometown and decided to do a little detective™ search for a biT and mess. Milly and Terry both lost their parents while they were very young and their grandfather took charge of them, but he couldn't raise both, so he sold Milly to a gang of thieves who used her to "have fun".

You think this is already messy, you better get ready for this then: the leader of the thieves made a deal with the king to get lands and money in exchange of Milly, who was kept locked up in the catacombs. The king RAPED Milly every day before going to sleep (you can even visit the king's "pleasure room") and then, the queen, who would often hear his husband having sex with the little girl, would spend the night TORTURING Milly because of jelaously.

This kept going on for years, until someone who worked at the castle managed to free Milly. If you bring Milly in your party and visit this town, she won't say a single word, if you speak with her, she would only say "..." and end the dialogue.

This game was published by Nintendo in NA and Europe, and even if they didn't remove Milly's backstory or censore it in the localization, they didn't include any mention of this in the official guides. Milly's backstory is completely missable if you follow the game's main story or even use Nintendo's guide for the sidequests, I found it because I decided to roam in the map for a bit.
