I think she could peak at around 100 AI with this. I also think this could go 4x plat in the US. I think Rolling in the Deep will be far past 6x plat by year's end and 7x plat sometime in 2012.

If this is going number one, I think it'll happen right after the VMA performance. If not, I see a peak in the top 5 with huge longevity, sustained by downloads. I think this performance will be all over youtube. The performance from the BRIT Awards has 30 million views.

I definitely think they should upload the performance to Vevo if she slays as hard as I think she will.

It would be quite dumb for them not too.

It's already gone #1 in 5 countries and top 10 in 10 countries.

The most surprising of these is in Australia, where it topped the charts for 7 weeks. Previous number one's of the year are PRA, S&M, OTF and Dirty Talk (aka mostly generic dance-pop trash). If a ballad can smash in Australia, I think it can smash in the US.

True, but the number shouldn't change too much. A lot of stations report early. AC and Hot AC are already 100% reported. It could gain some more pop adds though.

Honestly, it'll mean so much to me the first time I hear this on the radio. let's hope 92.3 and Z100 spin it like crazy.

My local pop station, B97, has been spinning it like crazy. They added it about a month ago, so they were one of the first stations to play it.

KIIS added it, so that's a good sign. I really want this song to take off. We need more diversity on mainstream radio, and Adele needs another hit to prove that she isn't a "one-hit wonder." I think she can do it. If this doesn't become a big hit on pop radio, I think it will sell really well anyway. Top 10 CHR and top 5 Billboard Hot 100 would be ideal. We'll see.

Where did SLY peak the week of the album release? I cannot remember. This is doing really well considering it has only gotten moderate airplay thus far, hasn't been promoted yet and doesn't have a video to support it.

Even if pop doesn't play it, I think this could be one of those songs like Aguilera's Hurt tbh. It barely made the top 20 (which I'm sure Adele will easily do) but EVERYONE knew it.

It was number 45 on the digital charts and sold 51,000 that week. Hold on, Let me do some more digging.
