I always hear the comparisons to Mariah, but I rarely ever see any comparisons to JoJo. I was playing a JoJo song in my car last weekend and my cousin thought I was playing Ariana at first.
Also, with the album track listing and collabs already out, it's pretty obvious why BET plays Ariana's music and why she got nominated at the BET Awards.

After hearing about the Jessie J single, I had a dream that Chris Brown announced DBGTL would be released too and then Ariana had the four top spots on Billboard with Break Free as #1, DBGTL as #2, Problem as #3, and the Jessie J song as #4.

JoJo herself is influenced by Mariah so I don't see what difference it really makes. By the way, I don't see the JoJo similarity.

I completely agree. "Popular Song" is worse than this but I digress. I hope it becomes a success so that the album can reach new heights.
