No, altho their numbers are close. They weigh in more markets than meditraffic, although not as proffesional imo.
I'd say:
Mediatraffic - estimate
Musiccharts - guesstimate

Well over I don't think so, but, with mediatraffic estimates, probably 28m, 29m.

Sorry, I was talking shipped which is the figure beside every one of the albums showing in the best selling albums of all time list. Don't forget '21' shipped 18.5 million ww in 2011 and must now be well over 22 million shipped, maybe as high as 23 million. There is no official body that monitors ww sales to end users (although on this album I believe Music Charts' figures are closer to the real one than mediatraffic) so we have to really use the record company's shipped figures for comparison purposes.

Unfortunately, I think that might be a bit ambitious. 21 would have to sell over 200K every week for another 40 weeks or so to get near those numbers. By the end of the year I'm picking 23 - 25 million or 12-13 ( top 30 albums ever) of those little red triangles on Media traffic.de,
Although I'm hoping your forecast is more correct than mine

- Norah Jones - Feels Like Home: 9.020.000 copies

AND it's still having remarkablesales.. By the end of the year she'll have snatched #3. I wanna say she'll be at around 10.5-11.0 million by the end of the year.

Just saw this,,, at 15.3 million for 2011 Adele slayed it......not to mention 19 sold 2.8 million too. I'm kind of hoping that it doesn't take her another 2 years to bring out another album though. Strike while the iron is hot I think.....

According to Billboard, 21 is expected to return to No. 2 in US next week (week 59)
behind Nicki Minaj's new album, which is expected to sell 215,000 to 235,000, but ahead of Rascal Flatts new album which is expected to debut at the No. 3 slot with around 100,000 to 120,000 album sales. So 21 will be well above 100K sales in the US for yet another week.... this album sure has some legs....
MDNA is nowhere to be seen?
