My Blueberry Nights
5.5/10
Tries hard to be artsy, if you know what I mean. The scenes with Norah Jones and Jude Law work perfectly, but the rest of the film kind of drags and drags on.
Men Who Stare At Goats
7.3/10
It's like they're trying to make a Coen Bros film. It's funny, it's entertaining, gets a little repetitive towards the end, but it's definitely worth it. Great performances by everybody.
The Shining. Really good movie, classic horror. The only thing I would critisise about the film is that the descent into madness wasn't as gradual as it could have been. It would have been better to see him starting off completely normal and slowly changing. It wasn't like that though. He started off as quite a distant character and never seemed really loving or close to his family. Having said that, It is still a fantastic movie. Jack Nicholson He is such an amazing actor.
New York, I Love You
4.3/10
Ten different directors with ten shorts about stories happening in New York. Awful film. "Paris, Je T'Aime" was so much better. This one has only a few good shorts and the rest is pretty pretentious or just plain bad.
