The word "overrated" is always being misused. When someone doesn't like something/someone, they call it/they "overrated" when that's not even what the word means. When something is overrated, it's because it is being given too much credit or too much praise.
The way I see it, because Gaga writes, composes, and co-producers all of her music, writes all of her video treatments, comes up with all of her performance themes, and co-designs mostly everything she uses/wears, it's simply impossible to give her too much credit or too much praise.
Like, you literally cannot label someone who does everything "overrated". That's not how it works.
