Steinem's comments were just indefensible, I agree.
Albright's comment was said light-heartedly at a campaign rally, the purpose of which is to energize the supporters Hillary already has. I'm not saying the substance of what she said was correct, but it hardly demonizes her given the context of the situation. And, as I've said, it's a famous quote that's been attributed to her for a long time.
John Lewis was addressing what Bernie's supporters have been propping him up as all along. They've made him out to be some central civil rights figure based on a picture of him marching with MLK. It's certainly commendable that Bernie marched, but John Lewis is free to comment on the broader narrative his supporters have put forth.
