Guys does Adele's Cockney accent disappear when she sings? I think it does but someone got mad at me for saying it does
Nah, it's definitely still there. It's especially noticeable on 19 and live recordings. Obviously less prominent than when she speaks, but I wouldn't say she sounds "American" or that it disappears when she sings. I think what she's got going sounds pretty epic, tbh.

If you hear some of Taylor's writing on her non-singles, most of it is decent enough that making a comparison isn't quite that shocking. Adele's is still obviously miles and miles ahead though.
