I am for real.
G.R.L. is under RCA/Sony, and both Nicole's and G.R.L.'s management is under Larry Rudolph's agency. Jimmy Lovine (co-founder of PCD, the recordinggroup concept) also left his chair on Interscope and jumped upon the Apple company. So there is no reason why PCD couldn't re-start, if they wanted to

Anyway, I'd, personally, prefer that there only be a greatest hits album with a handful of new tracks as opposed to an entire era and then a greatest hits album.
Random sidenote: I'd love for her to make an appearance as a songwriter on somebody else's album. She has so much to offer as an artist.

I'm pretty sure Nicole is interested in commercial success too. If you watch her interviews in the US promoting "Run," she seems upset.
I think an actual album is a good idea and then a Greatest Hits right after. It'll make it look more genuine so we can avoid "running back to PCD because she's a flop alone." The new album would be their reunion and the Greatest Hits can be their goodbye.
I think that's a good idea too. I don't understand why she doesn't take advantage of her friendships. She could have easily been featured on Pitbull's albums the way Kelly Rowland and Ne-Yo have been twice. Or maybe she's not really friends with them.

It's really odd, aswell that she worked with Nicky Romero, Afrojack and possibly more DJ's and we only got that Alex Gaudino song.
It also seems she gets scrapped from songs though. She was set to feature on Flo Rida's last album, but she was nowhere to be found when the tracklist got announced.

I don't think she's good at networking and lobbying for these types of things. Like I said before, she says she's really ambitious, but I don't think she is.

Yeah you are right about that. She talks about Michael Jackson sized worldtours and working towards a Greatest Hits, but it's really just talking into the air, when she does nothing career wise to estamblish those ambitions

Exactly. Dreams and ambition are not the same things.

Of course, she is, lol. Who isn't? We all want to do what we love and make money doing it while being able to break records, make history, etc. But the circumstances are what they are, and as you've said and I've agreed, in the grand scheme of things, she is doing fine. She just needs to keep hustling, especially if she wants to be commercially successful and make an impact as a solo artist the way that the Dolls had done.
And either way, whether she does 1 album with them or 2, people are still going to say that, unfortunately.
I agree re: serving as a featured artist more often. She's been featured on such a wide array of tracks! Hard rock to classical to hip-hop to Latin/Italian pop to dance to musical theatre. We want more! Lol. That dance song "Missing You" deserved a more proper release.

Is it true that those are her vocals on Flo Rida's "Club Can't Handle Me" (or whatever it is called, lol)?

That's not true. There are plenty of artists who don't care about commercial success. Some of them are even disgusted by it.
I think if she does two albums and makes a conscious effort to clear up false perceptions and misinformation about what PCD was (she was hired to be the vocalist and she did her job), then it would be minimize the amount of detractors she has.
No, it's not her on the Flo Rida song and "Missing You" is really bad. J-esper and everyone else means mainstream songs with American pop acts like Pitbull, not Il Divo.

Yeah, true! Some people are just really about their art and nothing else (not to say that those who are commercially successful can't be real artistes). To each their own, right? Lol
And I, myself, am referring to collaborations with both mainstream and non-mainstream acts.
I love "Missing You," btw...but it's one of the remixes that I love. I'm not too familiar with the original recording, hehe...

Yeah she is not featured on that Flo Rida song, but was set to feature on an actual song on his last albu, but never appeared
I think during the KL era she really got it all together for the UK. She had a succesful feature with Enrique, material with one of the "it-producers" of that time, she secured likeability with a temporary judge stint etc.
She basically did nothing like that between the end of the KL era and the beginning of the BFL era. Yeah she had a tons of random (but good) features with Il Divo,David Garrett and some non-released album features like those will.i.am songs etc. But like Inverted said. She needs commercial pop features, and get them as actual single releases. I mean everybody and their mother have had a featured song on Pitbull's singles, same for David Guetta and there are also tons of other people
Missing You is really the most basic kind of dance song she could have released with someone, the fact the song has not appeared on Alex Gaudino's album/ep/mixtape releases and has had a very bad video seems like they had basically no real effort for the track
I hope between now and two years Nicole and the girls decide to jump the PCD ship for the final chapter, or it will be rather emberassing if they consider it for an even later period. Nicole isn't getting any younger (no shade) and when I think fo that Spice Girl reunion with that pretty lackluster ballad release, I just wanna erase it from my memory.

It's nice that you and whomever else think that she needs to be featured on a more mainstream act's single. I also happen to agree. But I also enjoy her contributions to non-single tracks on non-mainstream artists' albums as well. I would like for her to do both. And again, that is my opinion, for the final time, lol.
Anyway, I still love "Missing You" (whichever remix it is that I listen to), regardless of how basic anyone thinks it is. As far as the video goes...now, that is a different story.

You are really not getting what Inverted and I are saying, right? We don't mind those collabo's at all. I actually love the song with David Garrett and it's nice for some side respect from people in the business and some casual random people who hear them.
What I have been saying is that she has done no major featuring bu a commercial artist for a whole now, while she is releasing commercial music by herself. By contributing on someone else single, she gains profile and could earn airplay in certain countries when her own music comes out.
Just look at Heartbeat, that put her back in the picture again in certain EU countries and contributed to building her profile in the UK.
Nobody is attacking your opinion or arguing with the fact you like those songs, we were just talking about the fact that she should also put some more focus on those commercial collabo's,

What is so hard to understand about what you and Inverted are saying? She should be featured on a mainstream artist's single. It could possibly be successful. She wins. There is nothing complex about it. I totally agree.
But I also would love for her to be featured on more non-mainstream acts' tracks in addition to the aforementioned scenario. I've stated my opinion several times, and twice I had been told "but so and so was talking about this," which is totally fine and I respect and acknowledge that, but I'm going to talk about what I want to talk about too, regardless. I do not feel as if I am being attacked in the least bit. I am completely agreeing with you, while also stating that I think that additional collaborations with non-top 40 acts could be beneficial (and just nice to hear) too. I'm getting tired of saying that in several different ways, lol.
