Lordes music is amazing. Lanas is as well but not in a good way. They are clearly not related. raising the platform of indie'd artists doesn't equate to having musical influence.
lorde's sound is just a by-product of Lana's, despite it not being the same. Lana has been very influential musically this decade. I don't think that's up for debate.
