idk what I want her to do.
If she ever wants to tour again, she will have to focus completely on her music and work on a 3rd album as soon as the UK Cats is done for her.
If that is nto something she desires in this phase of her career then I say just go for it, release one more BFL single, put the album out in the US and the hell with BFL.

I don't even care about BFL, but I agree with that she shouldn't shelve it in the US. Just put it up on iTunes (like they should have done with her Killer Love US and all her other shelved albums) and I wouldn't mind her promoting "Run" either.
As for whether she should continue with pop music or take the role on Broadway (if it's even happening), I think she should go for the latter. She's getting a better response in Cats than anything she's done before and like Andrew Lloyd Weber himself pointed out, it'll open doors for her.
I also think she needs to start cleaning her image to combat the perception of her. People are still holding onto the idea she destroyed PCD and she was front and center because she hijacked the group when that's obviously not true. Nicole did an interview post-PCD with George Lopez where she stated the facts, but it's not like anyone watched that show. She needs to aggressively kill that idea and if a PCD reunion (which I'm not interested in) happens, it would probably help her, especially if the others were to sing. It's exactly what Beyonce did with Survivor album when the Michelle and Kelly parts to sing in order to promote this sisterly image in order to make Beyonce to look better.
And I hate to say this, but I think the way she dresses (although I like it), makes people think she can't possibly be talented because apparently a sexy, attractive woman can't be talented. I don't think she should change this though.

The album should be released in the US no matter what, there is no reason why she should not. It's not like the choice for Run meant they were seeking for an obvious hit.
and yeah cleaning her image would def. be smart

I agree with all that you've said in your post before this one. I am also not interested in a Pussycat Dolls reunion. If Nicole were touring at this point, then perhaps the Dolls could join for a number or two. But she's not, and I just don't see it as appropriate for them to perform on a televised program, especially since Nicole has her own material, which is extremely recent, to promote on such platforms. Are they even in high-demand at this point? I know that they are one of the best-selling girl groups of all-time, but still...

Nicole herself also isn't in demand and that's the problem. Producers of shows book acts, and there is just a certain amount what management teams can do. Even though PCD has been gone for 5 to 6 years now, the name itself still holds a standard. I rather would see her staying solo indeed. But it might be one of the last oppertunities she has to hold on to a nice new career phase if done right.
Just look where Nicole as solo artist was able to perform during HNIN, only because she was the leadsinger of PCD.
If she carries on like she did the last few years, I don't think we even will see a tour anywhere soon. Maybe a few UK shows, but even the UK is beginning to become a lost area if this continues.
She basically has two major options if we talk about commercial succes
01. Focus on solo music and release the most commercial, tad bandwagon jumping album of the moment and try to find a way to ride a wave to have some decent succes, tour potential and more musical ventures.
02. Reform with PCD, try to repair some of the damage done in the past and close that chapter for good

PCD is definitely in more demand than Nicole alone. An 8-year-old song like "Buttons" was just VEVO certified while "Right There" still can't get there. Also, news about PCD stirs more interest in her as evidenced by this new thread, which was recently posted on other websites too (and speaking of combating false perceptions, that article does a great job of it).
Maybe she can promote "Run" and "Bang" in the US after Cats is over, but I think BFL is over and she should move on from after it's released in the US. I don't care for a reunion, but it's probably the best option for her in terms of a pop music career (or even a mainstream career in general). It would definitely help stir interest in a next solo album or if she decided to go into something else like acting because (a) PCD is more relevant than she is and gets her more attention, and (b) she desperately really needs to combat that false perception of her like I keep mentioning or "repair some of the damage done" like J-esper called it because I think it's a big part of why some people love to hate her.

I see your points. I do think that this could potentially be a big press year for her if she promotes "Run"/"Bang", *BRIEFLY* reunites with The Dolls, and possibly announces her Broadway debut. And The Dolls can have their TV spots as long as Nicole as a soloist gets equal amounts of TV exposure too! Lol. I'm still not entirely thrilled about the possibility though, but at this point, it's whatev. I am a fan of Nicole for her dynamic personality and extraordinary talents, so, I'll support whatever she does as long as she displays that personality and those talents. I mean, doing the UK 'XF' ended up being a great career move even though initially, a lot of us were moaning and groaning about it. So, with that being said, people can say whatever they want about Nicole and her career decisions, but I say that she can only go up from here. And that's that!
I know that God has a special plan for someone as lovely and talented as her because she has been in the game for so long and hasn't given up. She is still here, and I believe that it is for a reason. I have faith in that, and always have/will.

I have so much faith in "Run" (I really think it could be a big hit here) but she really needs to promote it after West End.

I'm not that interested in it either, but again, I think the only way solo Nicole will ever get mainstream media exposure is if PCD returns first, and more importantly, if it's done right so Nicole doesn't look like a villain again. One more era and then a Greatest Hits sounds fine to me. Then Nicole can move on and do whatever she wants using that platform.
I don't believe in God, but I believe in her and her talent. I think she's doing fine considering everything. It's been almost 15 years since Pop Stars and she still exists.

Exactly. It's the people whose thought processes are rooted in commerciality who say that Nicole isn't doing fine. Can things be better? Of course...but her continued presence in the music industry speaks volumes and is a testament to the fact that she was born to do what she has been doing. So, bye to the nonbelievers.
Anyway, I'd, personally, prefer that there only be a greatest hits album with a handful of new tracks as opposed to an entire era and then a greatest hits album.
Random sidenote: I'd love for her to make an appearance as a songwriter on somebody else's album. She has so much to offer as an artist.

Nice post..
But since Nicole is with SONY now, do you think it can happen? I mean she can't be re-signed to Interscope...

You mean about PCD? Robin Antin also completely moved to Sony, so I guess PCD could easily be re-estamblished under the sony umbrella if they wanted to

OMG. Are you for real? That's super then. But I think other dolls might agree except Melody.
