She has been asked to perform as well for Time 100 Gala
Time 100 Gala will feature Pharrell, Carrie Underwood
Pharrell Williams — and hopefully his trademark *Vivienne Westwood “Mountain” hat — and country singer Carrie Underwood will entertain the crowd of movers and shakers next week at the 10th annual Time 100 Gala at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
Newly crowned late-night talk show host Seth Meyers will give a special stand-up performance.
The Time 100 issue features pairings including James Franco on Marina Abramovic and Madeleine Albright on Vladimir Putin.
During high school, I was in mixed ensemble (it was a few people that were in my high school choir as well) and we had a trip to Lincoln Center for one weekend. We had a rehearsal on Friday and Saturday and performed Sunday night. We joined up with a couple of ensembles and choirs. That weekend had so many good memories, though the conductor was corny and had this weird mullet.
