Blue Ruin. A homeless guy learns that the murderer of his parents is being released from prison and wants revenge. It was actually partially crowdfunded through Kickstarter and it's so beautifully shot. Check it out!

Just finished Hush, I liked it. It wasn't as good as I had hoped but it was a nice, short thriller.

I liked Hush.

And Wolf Creek 2 was so entertaining! Totally my type of movie, I adore the road ones.. Hot actors alone are worth watching haha.

And why the damn hate for Sinister 2? The first part is like a modern classic, I've never seen anything that original & frightening before. The part with the rats and those creepy ass bowls in the middle of a church is certainly a highlight. So.. why the hate?

The acting was horrible, and the rats scene has been done in other movies (just with insects and other animals that bite/sting). The first that comes to mind is The Collector.

BUT I do believe the home movies were some of the most disturbing scenes in recent horror films. It's just unfortunate that the plot/acting/dialogue/etc. surrounding the home movies sucked big time.

Hush was good. I think I went into it with high hopes that it'll be The Strangers 2, which it wasn't, but I still enjoyed it. Definitely worth a watch if anyone is stuck for something to watch on Netflix.

For now, I'll patiently await the true The Strangers 2.

Do you guys think Cloverfiled works as an anthology? Maybe we'll get more Cloverfield movies, but each movie is not connected with the previous, yet has similar elements? I would love to get a sequel to 10 Cloverfield Lane, as there is BIG potential with how the movie ended.

I also read a few great theories that made sense. Basically, about Howard not being the bad guy after all, and Emmett was the one who killed his daughter and twisted it around.

I like to think they are connected by more than just name. But I think there will be a third Cloverfield film.
