Y'all are overreacting. Most artists continue working on their albums even after the lead single is out. I wouldn't worry about this. She's probably just going into the studio to see if they can come up with anything else.
The lead single is likely picked out by now and I don't even see anywhere where he says it's to write new music (I might have missed it though). Could just be finishing the tracks they've already done.
