I agree 100% with this. IMO she SLAYED her performances during the HNIN era. She really knew how to light up a stage, especially for "Whatever U Like". I loved the use of male dancers and that box from the video. Vocal wise, she was her worse during the release of "Baby Love" (she was fine w/ WUL) and the DD tour. These were probably the times when her bulimia was at its peak.
I also cringe when I watch those performances.
It sucks because I love that song.
I found most of her KL era performances to be very bland and boring. She sounded great but she didn't really wow me. I did enjoy the "Poison" performance on X Factor and "Right There" on BGT. Even though the era was the most awarding for her fans, it's my least favorite.
I'm pretty satisfied so far with this upcoming era. I hope the music is more like HNIN (r&b) and less like KL (dance pop).
