I'm more worried she overthought and second guessed herself too much throughout the process, causing the album's very lengthy work period. I hope it doesn't come out sounding overworked or unsure of itself.

True. They could of all been close to finished anyway. I just worry that her whole "****-pop" vision was scrapped due to pressures from the label. With Dr. Luke and Cirkut, they seem to be hooked on the whole electronic phase right now, so I fear that Ke$ha's ambition for what this album was to sound like has been lost. I'm going to just hope for the best and trust her though.

But Cannibal was done in 1-2 months and we got 8 songs (posdibly more) from that, its been 6 months since she started serious recording, plus she has been working with other producers not just Luke, so he hasnt actually been working on 17 songs in the past 5 months and i am sure that includes some tracks they recorded early/late last year. It could of been longer but this process has certainly not been rushed

Cannibal followed the same formula as
Animal though, so it would of been a no-brainer for Luke and his team. They had the sound already established, so they teared through the recording process really fast. They knew exactly how it was going to sound before they even started recording. I think Ke$ha has pushed him to work a lot harder this time around because she actually seems to have a much stronger vision as to what she wants this record to be. There would of had to be a lot of experimenting and trial and error to formulate a perfect sound that actually works. Those 17 tracks were from Luke. I think he would have finished probably half of those, and they will be the ones that will end up on the album. The other tracks will be filled up from other producers. I just get the impression he has been really stressed by it all. The process probably took a lot longer than he thought, and now the label are pushing them to get it done as quickly as possible because all of the fans are getting pissed off.
