Haunted, Drunk In Love, Partition, and Blue have some of the strongest melodies in recent music.
Those songs have 0 melody.
Haunted is literally a spoken refrain, Drunk in Love only the hook is actually sung, Partition is completely rapped, and Blue is totally forgettable. Clearly, not a strong melody if it isnt memorable.
The strongest melody Beyonce has (possibly in her whole career) is Love on Top.
And ironically, that actually was done acapella on tour, and sounded amazing.
