Miley visits the Ellen show (with a performance)
After Miley Cyrus revealed her new music video for D.U.I., she had the world’s attention. She debuted the music video during Dubai’s unbelievably amazing New Years Eve celebration using LED-illumination technology along with Dubai’s Fountains, Strobe lights, shower of stars falling down and more. The performance and the premiere of the video caused large buzz on social media, it was streamed live at Burj Khalifa’s website, the tallest building in the words ( http://www.burjkhalifa.ae/) and Youtube. After Miley arrived back in the United States, she went straight to Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California to visit the Ellen Show, as she was announced to be on the show and perform her new single, ‘D.U.I.’.
She talked about the Dubai performance, “It was crazy and scary to perform with that many lights and fountains. It was really madness but I had so much fun and the whole craziness made me do it better honestly, they raised my adrenaline like never before, the audience was also amazing. It’s my first time performing there and I would definitely want to do it again for my tour. It definitely was one of the craziest moments of 2014 for me.”
When Ellen asked about what the video meant, Miley said “The video is really just sort of like a parody really, it’s not a serious video. It’s basically about the big conspiracy about the illuminati and it revolves around that mostly, and makes fun to the things people say online about celebrities and singers control society’s mind and stuff like that. It shows me as an agent in the secret illuminati building, with you know the things I did referenced in it,” Ellen said, “So the Illuminati isn’t real?” and Miley said, “No, at least they didn’t invite me to it [audience laugh].”
“What was it like filming such a crazy video?” Ellen asked, “The filming of the video was a blast really, it was fun recreating the things I did and having a different respective on them now that you know being in a different time and things like that. It was a long shoot, tiring, but I had so much fun, and most helpful thing probably is that the director was really helpful with me, he guided me through everything and made me feel really comfortable. He let me know of any changes immediately just to be sure I was okay with it, so having that really helped the process of the filming,” Miley replied.
When Ellen asked about the album, Miley said “The album is almost finished, and it’s probably my best work yet honestly. I’m not just saying that because it’s my last, but I really feel like I.. really invested and devoted my heart to it. It’s fun, personal, will definitely make you dance, and just good.”
Miley performed an acoustic chilled-out version of D.U.I. with guitars, acoustic bass and drums on the show, this version showcases Miley's vocal ability mostly and how beautiful the song really is.

Xtina attends 2015 VS Fashion Show in Tokyo
+ a special performance of Waves
Yesterday evening, Christina Aguilera attended the 2015 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show which was held in Tokyo this time around. It was the first time Christina has ever gone to a VS-related event and could mean future partnerships with the household American retailer due to the sudden involvement. Apparently, the CEO of Victoria's Secret requested for Aguilera to be there or at least "promote" the fashion show by tweeting about it etc. This comes as a welcoming surprise since the company and Aguilera herself had a falling out back in 2002 due to huge disagreements about their campaign at the time. Christina eventually walked away from the deal in order to avoid stirring up more trouble by taking the case to court. It seems as though Victoria's Secret wants to re-build that burned bridge between them and actually make an effort to form some sort of business relationship with Christina. Whether or not Aguilera accepts this lowkey "apology", it is solely up to her and even she cannot deny that this is a great business venture in the long-term. Christina arrived in Tokyo with her publicist, personal assistant, stylist and a couple of friends and business associates three days early to ensure that everything was going smoothly. She also had to rehearse and a do a sound check for a special performance of Waves during the show. It was probably the biggest ever televised performance Christina has ever done in Asia aside from previous tours. According to a source close to Aguilera's team, she has expressed a willingness to visit Asia more often and is already setting up dates for her upcoming worldwide tour.
This year's VS Fashion Show was inspired by Japanese culture and the concept of "cherry blossom" which derived from the geisha community of Japan. It meant VS was able to experiment with different textures and materials than ever before in order to create the "cherry blossom" effect that I had in mind. The angels dazzled in their snug lingerie with some groundbreaking items that could potentially shape what's "in" next season. Most of the manufacturing process of the pieces were in fact done in a warehouse located in the outskirts of Tokyo's city centre. This was to save inevitable travelling costs since VS would have to ship entire boxes over from miles away which isn't a very reliable way to prepare for a blockbuster fashion show, to say the least. There were thousands of volunteers who are based in Asia to help with costume design and other necessary errands. This provided work for many of those who are unemployed which is a positive thing on VS' part. In some of the pieces, bark from actual cherry blossom trees were used to create an authentic effect and added an almost 4D dimension to the clothing. This sees VS pioneering the "nature" trend that is said to increase in popularity once springtime is in full force.
Christina performed her lead single - Waves - off of her 8th upcoming studio album which is executively produced by critically-acclaimed producer Paul Epworth, sources claim. The reworked instrumental had a clear homage to Japanese culture with many Japanese instruments being added to the original beat. The performance was a refreshing contrast to the pretty much lacklustre show that preceded it. She worked the runway as Christina interacted with the models and the audience too, every now and again. Her stage presence almost overshadowed the "cherry blossom" collection although it all seem to mesh well in the end. There was a dance break during the middle 8, however, the choreography wasn't robotic and was more spontaneous in nature. Christina writhed around on the catwalk, embodying the raw emotion that her vocals possess throughout the Mark Ronson-produced experimental power ballad track.
In the performance, Christina wore a silver bodysuit with abstract cut-outs to accentuate her womanly figure. Her hair dripped down to one side with its chesnut highlights while a feather headpiece was tucked underneath. The silver bodysuit (reminiscent of something from Star Trek) gave Christina a lot of room to move and breathe in which is something that could cause problems in a performance with such magnitude. At the red carpet and when she sat down to watch the show, however, Christina wore a creamy beige-looking cocktail dress with white attire and a structured bust. The hem flowed loosely though. Christina's hair was wavy and voluminous and didn't look as if it experienced any permanent damage or fry at all. She wore simplistic gold earrings and a gold necklace to match. The natural makeup enriched her flaw-free porcelain skin with a mauve lip that didn't take away from the rest of the look. To it all off, Christina wore very trendy blue-tinted high heels that laced all the way up her calves and almost resembled a wedge shape.
Aguilera actually has a lingerie swimwear-focused line of her own; The Naked Truth which was released a matter of days before the fashion show in Tokyo. It aims to target a broad female demographic. Nonetheless, a male-oriented line of products are currently in the works and is expected to wrap up at the start of next month. This could just be a coincidence but, if VS were to approach Christina for a business deal, The Naked Truth might turn into a must-have item very soon. It's the perfect way for Christina to break through into the fashion industry. Having said that, sales for The Naked Truth have been doing respectably and relatively well for the most part especially taking into consideration the fact that it is a new brand thriving in a worsening economic climate.
Just after the VS Fashion Show ended, Christina tweeted out an extremely forward-thinking message to her fans: "Make sure to live life to the fullest, my beautiful Fighters. I dream of a time where we can all flourish in harmonious peace. Tokyo is a delightful place to be. Don't you agree? #2015VSFashionShow #makeawave #pushtheboundaries". The positive tweet garnered great amounts of support from fellow celebrities with R&B-Pop sensation even going so far as to tweet and favourite it.

AL: The album is mostly ballads and midtempo songs, There's some pop tracks but I assure everyone that it's not gonna sound very bratty or immature. And yes, Adele and I have a duet on one of the tracks. It's really nice and I hope everyone loves it too.

Xtina attends fan signing in London
Yesterday morning, Christina Aguilera held a very special fan signing in London at Trafalgar Square. It has been a long time since Christina has done a pre-planned fan signing let alone in London of all places. This comes as an extremely early Christmas present for the British Fighters due to how impromptu it was. The fan signing wasn't officially announced by Christina herself or her team but was hinted at a little bit on her Twitter page: "Join me in London tomorrow morning! I have a very special surprise for you guys. ^_^ #makeawave #TriangularSquare". Not many people caught onto it because of how vague and cryptic it was although some fans figured out that they had to find out where exactly Christina was going to be since there was no mention of a meeting place in the tweet itself. Obviously, the clue was "#TriangularSquare" which was a clear ode to Trafalgar Square; a popular public space and tourist attraction in Central London.
Fans, not only from the UK, but across the world too expressed their excitement at the possibility of Christina visiting their city one day. "It's just ahh OMFG dis bitch I can;t wait to see her for the first time!!!!! #makeawave y'all", a Polish Fighter tweeted quite frantically yesterday. A lot of people who went to the fan signing shared with us their experiences with meeting Christina Aguilera and how that blue-eyed soul singer was so sweet upon arrival. Everybody screamed her name, however, she made sure to calm the situation down and promised to get to everyone in time even if that meant staying there all night similarly like how her fans had camped there all morning for an autograph or a selfie, even just to tell Christina how much she means to them and a hug. Many artists follow a strict "no-touching" policy but apparently Aguilera didn't have one in place because she wanted to truly have a connection with her fans. There were still, of course, a couple of necessary precautions in place such as patting people down before going near Christina due to possible weapons or dangerous substances like acid etc.
Christina has held fan signings in the past, specifically during her early days as a singer, but not to the extent of yesterday's fan signing. "There were refreshments there and everything. I wish it could happen again soon", one female fan said when we interviewed her last night near where the fan signing was actually held in Trafalgar Square. Several crazed fans were critically injured during a brawl that happened in the early hours before Christina appeared on the scene. Not much is known about the overall reason although it's been rumoured that at least three of those involved have been taken to the police station to be interviewed and get their fatalities stitched up.
There were around 75,00 Fighters who attended the fan signing and most lived in London even though a select few did travel from other places instead, mainly from within the UK. This is one of the hugest showings for a fan signing in recent history with J.K. Rowling - the mind behind the revered billion-dollar Harry Potter franchise - being amongst some of the greatest showings ever. Christina posed with a few fans on the infamous lions located in the heart of Trafalgar Square. It was a struggle for everyone to get up there but they eventually managed to take quite a few good snaps in the end.

NATALIA KILLS PERFORMS “COVEN DE COUTURE” AT EXCLUSIVE NEW YEARS’ PARTY. + GETS RECOGNITION FROM TOP NAMES
Natalia stepped in on the red carpet rocking gold Christian Loubitin shoes and a red ball gown. Her hair was pulled up in a bun and she held a gold studded clutch. As she walked down the carpet, paparazzi howled at her from different angles to get the best pictures that they could. After posing for the paparazzi for a brief time, she entered the venue and spent the evening talking, laughing, dancing, and flirting with the top dogs in the game. When it was time for her to get on the stage, she was introduced by Cameron Diaz who called her “the biggest thing in the past and coming year”. Natalia came out on stage with 2 dancers and she performed a different kind of arrangement to the song making the entire song more upbeat and festive. She danced a lot more for this performance and later went into the crowd to grind upon Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, and Tom Cruise. She also held Drew Barrymore by the hand and brought her to the stage and they both did a lean-back type of dance.
Once Natalia finished her song, the entire room got on their feet and roared applause for her. She spent the remainder of the night accepting compliments, dancing, and having a blast.
Later, many celebrities in attendance took to social media to express their love for Kills.
Leonardo DiCaprio said “Met one fiery young lady called @NataliaKills today. She is such a talented young woman. Hope to see more of her in 2015”
Drew Barrymore tweeted “Loved dancing with you tonight @NataliaKills. You Rock”

“D.U.I.” is a song by American recording artist Miley Cyrus featuring American rapper and singer Devin Star Tailes, better known as Dev (stylized as DEV or dEV). It was released on January 1, 2015 by Rebuilt Records. The song is a remix version of the original single, ‘D.U.I.,’ the lead single from Miley’s fifth studio album set tone released sometime during 2015that was released December 26, 2015. The remix single is written and produced by Max Martin, Shellback and Benny Blanco, with addition writing by Miley Cyrus, Savan Kotecha and Dev. It is the first remix single for the song, and is said to be included now in the Remix EP of the single.
Background
After pop singer Miley Cyrus left both Hollywood Records and RCA Records and released Bangerz before starting her world tour ‘Bangerz Tour’ in 2014, she announced plans to record a new album, effectively putting her film career, and then released the lead single “D.U.I.” after it leaked on December 26, 2015 as an iTunes exclusive purchase for a week (til now). Producer Benny Blanco have said that “D.U.I.” was originally written with American recording artist Kesha in mind before offering it to record producer Shellback who later pitched it to Max Martin who then ultimately offered it to Miley Cyrus after she heard the demo in a studio recording session.
Before Miley Cyrus visited Dubai to perform the song and debut the music video of the track during Dubai’s New Years Eve 2015 celebration, Miley Cyrus met Dev through a friend two days before she flew to the United Arab Emirates and discussed working together. Both artists expressed and shared love for each other’s work and so the idea of a remix single was brought by Miley’s manager, Adam Leber, and scheduled a studio session with Max Martin for Dev while Miley Cyrus performed at Dubai.
Dev told MTV News, “I’m a massive fan of Miley and the song itself, so having to feature on it is really special to me and I’m glad they chose me.”
Composition
“D.U.I.” is a an uptempo dance-pop and elctropop song, with an electro beat in the elements of trance and Eurodance. It is written in the key of C minor and Cyrus’ vocals span two and a half octaves, from the low note of G2 to a high C#6, and followers the chord progression Cm—Gm—G#m—A#m.The song opens with Eurodance synths with whispers of the letters DUI with drums & bass kicking in and a repeated loop of Cyrus’ vocals rise, building up to the verse. During that part, Dev ad-libs “De, Eh, Ve.” and “It’s a Dev." Cyrus opens the verse with very breathy and high goals, in lyrics such as “I see myself gasping for air, I know I shouldn’t but I just don’t care.” The verse collides with the pre-chorus and filtered big synths play with Cyrus saying “Stop the beat ‘cause this is where I get off.” The chorus is accompanied with heavy drum, bass and synths. The new remix features different production elements, such as harder drums and different cymbals loops. Dev’s part comes after Miley’s bridge, with trap bass imitating the chord progression. Dev sings “I can’t Bre-heath, Bre-heath, Bre” and raps “Beat is mysterious, leaving bitches delirious, so serious; making you curious.”

Miley Cyrus went on Ustream, The world’s leading HD streaming video platform, to answer diehard fans’ questions about her new exciting projects during a live chat with the fans.
The pop singer tweeted this Thursday morning to fans that she will be on Ustream tonight at 7pm PT, and she will be answering the fans’ question through the hashtag ‘#MileyDUI’ on twitter.

“Alright.. Okay, Do you hear that? there’s an echo Harry. Yeah.. through the computer.. What do you mean? Turn down the volume you mean? through the chat or the computer itself? Okay.
One two.. okay it’s good now. We’re live? We are? Oh, Hello guys! Sorry there was some technical difficulties.
So you guys send in the question using the hashtag Miley DUI and I’ll answer the answers.. I mean questions.. okay..
Wheat ley.. asks Where are you, I’m at a recording studio actually right now, doing final touches on the album. Tom link FC says Are you finished with the album, I’m at the final stages currently so you could say it’s finished, but there are still things that need to be mastered and stuff like that. Nail lie cyrus, I hope I said that right, says how was it like to be wearing hannah montana’s wig again? That was actually crazy, once I saw myself in the mirror with the wig I was like, oh my god I’m old, [laughs], but it was interesting to play that again and revive her, may she rest in peace. Banger MC says did you shoot the album cover art, no actually, I did not. We scheduled that though so I’m going to do it real soon and I’m excited for the album to come alive at that point, and have the pictures represent the music, it’s one of my favorite things to do during the making of the album.
Domy thwng.. what.. Oh, do my thing or dwng asks are you gonna see my artworks one day, send them to me so I can see them! Miley Finder asks do you still remember how to do the hoedown throw down, [laughs] oh my god, I think I could do a move or two but not the whole dance [laughs], Crystal twenty five says can you be my mother please, sure baby. Butterfly star four says when are you releasing the album, I think the label is eyeing a march release, it could be april too but we’re not sure, so around that time. Flawless Cyrus says do you ever stalk smilers accounts? Yeah, all the time. I’ve been watching you guys and some of you are so cute. Liam dander asks are you nervous for your fifth album to be released, a little, like any artist would be nervous, but I’m confident with the work I’ve done so I think you guys will love it.
Miley my base asks what’s the title of the album.. I still ask that question honey, I still don’t know, going through titles but we’ll see what catches on. Love Skater Girl asks are you going to come to Argentina this year for your tour? Definitely, I will. Miguel Momsen asks are you working with Mike Will again? Yeah man, we have I think four songs on the album. Weird four asks will you grow you hair longer or keep it short for a while? I don’t know, if you mean by long you mean the same length as here (points) then no, I like it how it is now.
