Currently reading Grant Morrison's New X-men run.

/DEAD @ Beast nonchalantly saying 'he might be gay' while 'breaking up' with his ex news reporter girlfriend (New X-men issue 125 page 19 for those curious) and then having a front page news article run about it (issue 131 page 8). The title is literally 'I'm as gay as it gets'.

I'm screaming.

With how this was retconned later on (I use that term loosely because I assumed he was joking when I first saw it, and I was right lol. Issue 134 p. 13 is where he confesses to Scott that the 'confession' first started off as a 'cruel, calculated strike at Trish Trilby's fickle heart'), I'm pretty sure the fact that All-new X-men's Iceman being gay will probably be retconned too lol.

Oh, and I'm loving this series so far. The art could do with some work though.

This could be before digital retouching. Ian McKellen basically gets a digital makeover to try and reduce the lines in his face. I presume some of the other cast might get something to a lesser extent because it's probably more effective than heavy stage makeup. It's similar to how at big photos shoots girls don't wear any makeup, it's all added digitally after.

Also maybe I stand alone but Daddy McAvoy bald >>>>>>>>>
