Welp, then that's THEIR problem for giving Tinashe only one performance slot on Wendy Williams. If she promoted at least on like one show a month the hype would've been REAL. But if they're too dumb to realize how many gems this album has then that's their loss. I genuinely think they didn't believe in her. Even the timing of the release was messy, because 2 On has peaked and it's too early for the second single to have taken off. I feel like they just threw the album out there in a way. And it's an awesome album, so no complaints there, but she wasn't a priority for them.

Yes, she's on Kimmel, performing 2 tracks. She needs to really kill it.

Pretend is an amazing song, one of my faves, but its not single material as the second single. It would work better as the fourth single.

'All Hands On Deck" is in my trinity, but I don't think it should be released as a single (same with "Pretend", but too late for that ****) unless Tinashe has four+ singles with this era. I think she should show more of her versatility with these singles. She needs to release "Feels Like Vegas" next, followed by

either "Far Side of the Moon", or "Thug Cry", or hell even if she wants to become a collab artist "How Many Times". But yeah, I'm not loving the fact that her first two singles are rapper collaborations - she needs to perform something solo tonight on Kimmel.

I'm just about done with the album, and it wasn't bad at all. It has its fair share of filler, but also quite a few tracks that I really enjoyed. It's a solid debut.

Bet is probably my favorite, followed by 2 On, Feels Like Vegas, and Pretend.

I've been saying that people don't know who Tinashe the person is. She is not famous whatsoever. She has a small, loyal fanbase but for her next era (if she has one ) they need to focus on making her standout and making her a somewhat big name in the urban scene. The music seems to come easy to her, she could bang out a solid album in no time. She needs a new hairstyle and she needs to be launched onto the scene in some type of way. I don't think she needs to resort to obvious PR ****ery, but she needs to play the game.

The opening predictions make me mad but y'all have to realize that Tinashe is NOT in the league of (most) of our waves. She has been out (signed) for less than a year and the GP doesn't know who she is yet. She isn't a household name, she's only had one lukewarm hit, no big promo slots, and is selling an album off a club banger and no established fanbase. Give Tinashe time to grow and establish herself. It's only up from here and with the right single choices, this could be a cute little era for her. For now, let's pray RCA starts to actually invest in her and just enjoy one of the best R&B albums of the year put out by a new girl and NOT COMPARE HER TO VETERANS IN THE GAME.
