lol, I'm not an expert, but I think three weeks is the usual time for your body to be cleansed of something. Once you get over that three week hump, you cravings for sugar and fats become more sustainable.
If I have a sweet tooth now, I don't feel the need to wild out. A granola bar will satisfy me. Quitting weed was also a big help, but that's another story. lol
