I really love the song "Hate That I Love You" after seeing the video. I thought it was very sexy, intimate and romantic this should see #1 on TRL a couple of times amazing collabo both Rihanna and Ne-Yo really made it work. And I hope to see this on top of the Billboard Charts really soon.
I have a feeling after all these years of complaining Kanye will finally win a grammy for album of the year for many reasons:
1. Sold the most copies in the 1st week this year in fact sold the most copies in 1 week since "The Massacre"
2. Definitely could be considered the best album of the year by many people
3. Kanye wins grammys
4. His album sales are getting more consistent as well
5. A commercial rapper who is actually a good influence through his lyrics. For example some rappers will rap about drugs but this guy will rap about on how to say no to drugs
Thanks to pandora I discovered this old hip hop song
The song is sick as hell, it came off a mixtape came out about like probably 3 or 4 years ago. It's called Promised Land by The Game it's crazy how his flow sounds alot like Scarface on this track. Beat sounds like it was produced by DJ Premier even though it probably wasn't.
on the prediction thing, u are right about that, but you have to look at the fact that there will be more than just rappers in the "best album" category. most likely he'll be the only rapper. i'm afraid he may lose again, we'll have to see the nominations first, but i don't think they'll even look at the 1st week sales.
To be honest I like Doctor's Advocate more but both DA and The Documentary are solid albums with no filler whatsoever, not to mention TD has masterpieces like Hate it or Love it and Put You On The Game.
And well if you're into r&b buy Carl Thomas' latest effort " So Much Better". He was famous in the early 2000s with songs like Emotional and I Wish, you should check it out!
Name your worst album of the year. Because for me I think I have to say 50 Cent - Curtis even though there a couple decent songs on there like Follow My Lead, Ayo Technology, Fire and I Get Money. But I thought the rest were crap in fact the album sounded much worse than The Massacre which was also another big piece of ****. The songs were just as dumb such as My Gun Go Off (****in idiot he is), I Still Kill (dumb especially with Akon on it), Peep Show (that's a nasty ass song along with Come and Go, I hate Eminem now even though he came from Detroit), Curtis 187 and Touch The Sky were also pretty bad. I give 50 an I for incomplete for the whole album since most of the songs suck it's not even good enough to deserve an F. Also to me perhaps by far the worst album of the year.
