The Weeknd continues his ruthless domination on the PlatinumCharts for a second consecutive week. The American singer enjoys another week stuck in the summit of the charts with "Can't Feel My Face". "Face" is The Weeknd's fourth Top 10 appearance this year, tied with Meghan Trainor as the only artists who did this so far in this calendar year.
Demi Lovato remains kewl as her smash single "Cool For The Summer" remains at #2 of the Countdown after dominating for two consecutive weeks. Demi earned her 7th #1 single with "Cool For The Summer" and tied Taylor Swift as the artist with the most #1s so far. Racher Platten's "Fight Song", another former #1 re-enters the Top 3 moving 4-3.
Lana Del Rey returns to the PlatinumCharts with a brand new single. Her "High By The Beach" release enters straight at #4, earning another Top 5 single for Lana. It's her fourth Top 5 single as of now. Major Lazer's "Lean On", also a former #1, falls at #5 after multiple weeks stuck inside the Top 3. Meghan Trainor and "Like I'm Gonna Lose You", which features John Legend, falls at #6.
Ed Sheeran and his "Photograph" fall at #7 this week. Rita Ora's "Poison" blasts at #8 of the countdown and becomes her third Top 10 appearance. Her last appearance was with Charli XCX in "Doing It" and she last appeared in the Top 10 with her Iggy Azalea collaboration, "Black Widow". "Bitch I'm Madonna" by Madonna and Nicki Minaj drops at #9 and "Marvin Gaye" by Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor finally enter the Top 10 at #10.

"Can't Feel My Face" became The Weeknd's fourth Top 5 single and first #1. This week Abel also debuts a new song inside the Top20. "The Hills" becomes the fifth song of the Weeknd to appear on the Chart at #18.
Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor get a major boost this week. Both of them already had a #1 smash single ("See You Again" and "All About That Bass") with the latter already having 3 more Top 5 entries. "Marvin Gaye", their hot collaboration, jumps 10-2 on the PlatinumCharts. Lana Del Rey rises inside the Top 3 of the PlatinumCharts as "High By The Beach" moves 4-3 this week and reaches a new peak.
Rachel Platten and her former #1 smash single "Fight Song" falls 3-4 and swaps positions with Lana. "Fight Song" ruled the chart for 3 weeks. Charlie Puth already has a chart topper as feature act in Wiz Khalifa's "See You Again". Meghan Trainor landed at #1 last year with her booty-hymn "All About That Bass". This means that both artists earn a precious second chart-topper this week as their collaboration climbs 2-1 and dethrones "Can't Feel My Face". Their "Marvin Gaye" marks Puth's second chart appearance and Trainor's fifth overall -and all of them were Top 5. Puth also scores back-to-back chart toppers.
And you thought that The Weeknd isn't dominating this week because he's not at #1? Wrong. He's the man of the year and this week he strikes twice in the Top 3. Last week's #1 and 3-week-topper "Can't Feel My Face" re-treats 1-2 and is ready to compete with another Weeknd song. "The Hills", another single from The Weeknd's "Beauty Behind The Madness" sky-rockets 18-3 and becomes the fifth consecutive Top 10 single of his.
Rachel Platten's self-empowerment song "Fight Song" is stable at #4 this week. "Fight Song" spent 3 weeks ruling the chart and shows increadible longevity in the Chart. It's Platten's debut single. Demi Lovato's "Cool For The Summer", also a chart-topper, is also a non-mover this week. The song spent 2 weeks at #1. Lana Del Rey's "High By The Beach" is falling after peaking at #3 last week. "High" is the lead single from Lana's third album "Honeymoon".
Major Lazer's three-weeks-chart-ruller "Lean On" falls at #7 after 17 weeks inside the Top10. Lost Frequencies continue to rise with "Are You With Me" which moves 10-8. Ed Sheeran's "Photograph" is stable at #9 and Rita Ora's "Poison" falls at #10 after peaking and remaining at #8 for two weeks.
