Snoop sold the song. He was the first seconds of the song so one of the most important.

It doesn't matter if you promote at the peak or early, it will increase sales and if it's 'peaking' it will make sure to sell more or keep sales stay consistent...

promo as in performance. Im not going to count how many times Katy Perry and Justin Bieber perform Born This Way, how many times Ellen calls Gaga to beg her to perform, or how many times a Z100 radio show host uses the phrase Born This Way. Please

Let's not do Bad Romance vs California Gurls. CG was technically the bigger hit but one of the singles was much more safe than the other. It's amazing BR made it to 4 million at all.
