Are we still having this discussion in 2008? Rihanna spent most of 2007 touring Europe. Colder climates and lack of sun exposure will make your skin lighter. When Rihanna was in Barbados this summer I noticed in some photos when she came back when came back she was darker than she had been in a while.
Beyonce is not as bronze as she used to be when she was growing up in warmer balmy Houston. Her skintone changes too.
