So I told my friend to listen to this song and she replied, "I need a song with literally crushing beats" (She was listening to Royals and Counting Stars before this). She was listening to this in a noisy environment on a laptop and skipped over the good parts of the song...

Well the drum beat in the DH isn't that powerful. It's understated throughout the entire track and not even super prominent in the final chorus where it's louder.
