Welcome, everyone! It's been a dramatic week at the I Love Money house, you all seemed to get really into your new stan assignments. We're so proud of you for that! Thank you for taking the challenge seriously and entertaining us.
Before we get to the entries, there are a few things we need to address. First, the lateness. It's bound to happen, we all have lives outside of ATRL and this tournament is not the top of anyone's priority list. We understand. If you need an extension, let us know. We're cool guys, I promise we're not going to bite your head off. If you come to us and ask us in advance, you won't be penalized. We're still discussing the idea of a penalty for those who were late without excuse. It wouldn't be such a big deal if it weren't so many of you and on the first challenge. Just communicate with us, you guys.
Secondly, we are sad to announce that one of our contestants has decided to leave the game. Sometimes, life gets in the way of these things. We wish this member the best and hope they'll still drop by to talk about how much they'd have slayed you all were they still in the competition. With that being said, the 16th place finisher in this tournament is...
Kitt
Between slaying ATRL's Next Member and being Beyonce in real life, she's gotta draw the line somewhere. We appreciate her signing up for this tournament and know she had good intentions. Unfortunately, this means that, Kitt, your check has been voided.
Please return to the mansion and pack up your belongings. You will be missed!
Now, even with Kitt leaving, this challenge will still go on as planned. Below are the entries for this round, including each member's makeover (we did not take screenshots of profiles or secondary avis, but I did look at them) and playlist. From here, the judges will deliberate and score each person's entry.

Britney Spears
Our Most Beloved Queen Of Pop
The True Icon Of The 2000s
The Playlist
Track 1
Everyone knows this huge defining hit. Since its 2009 debut from Vevo on YouTube (6 years after its original release) it has garnered over 66 million views and almost 100k likes. Including the 15+ million views and 13k+ likes forthe same video posted in 2007 she has 81+ million views and ~113k likes, the best for any Britney song on Youtube. Toxic gave Britney Spears her first Grammy (Best Dance Recording). It’s also been included as one of the best songs of the decade by publications such as Rolling Stone and Pitchfork. But don’t take the word of both the GP and professionals; have a listen.
Track 2
It’s a shame that this obvious single was not released from Femme Fatale but more of a shame that it was a bonus track. Listening to the song you know you’re listening to a hit. The bass and drums make the song sound full while the guitar provides a nice melodic touch. The synth is the icing on the cake. The song is ridiculously catchy, and you’ll find yourself with it stuck in your head after only one listen. The song could have slayed pop radio given the chance. Want more proof? The current top comment on the video, with 86 thumbs up, is “HANDS DOWN HER BEST NON SINGLE.”
Track 3
…Baby One More Time is an album mostly ignored by the Army sans the title track. One listen of …Baby One More Time after any other Britney album and you can tell right off the bat it’s missing the star quality that completes Britney today. One cut I wish was cut, E-Mail My Heart, is what I consider Britney’s worst song. Musically it’s plain boring, and it has some of the worst lyrics I’ve ever heard. It’s incredibly unmemorable and I couldn’t remember how the song went even ten seconds after I listened to it. The song is so cheesy it’s unbearable. For lovers of this song, each to their own.
Track 4
Pre-2001, Britney was still a teen pop princess, the kind your parents could jam along with their 10 year old daughter to. Everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked when Britney Spears released the song and video for I’m A Slave 4 U. Unarguably the video is iconic (Billboard said so!), well-known for its great choreography.. Two days after its release the video debuted at #1 on TRL’s countdown. It also topped Much Music’s list, 50 Sexiest Music Videos of All-Time, and racked up three nominations at the 2002 VMAs, one being Best Female Video [Overall]. Everyone knows how great this video is.
Track 5
Sadly, Oops!... I Did It Again is just as ignored as ...Baby One More Time despite it being much higher in quality. One track in particular was overlooked: Don't Go Knockin' On My Door. The song is memorable, catchy and (at the time) ready for radio, yet it still wasn't released as a single. For whatever crazy reason it's not even remembered as a standout from Oops!... I Did It Again. With a single listen you know this song had the potential to be one of Britney's biggest hits and it's a crying shame that this song is payed so much dust, even by her stanbase.
Track 6
Something about Britney’s vocal style is very reminiscent of Madonna’s glory days, in my opinion. Britney could probably pull off most of Madonna’s songs well. However, Madonna’s hit Like A Prayer could work particularly well for Britney. The song, just like Britney, is incredibly risqué and pushes the boundaries of just how controversial pop music can get. Listening to the song you can just imagine Britney’s luscious vocals coating the song with a new warmth and sexiness, maybe even with an updated trendy new EDM instrumental backing her up.

✿ Best single. ♪ E.T ♪
I have selected E.T as Katy's best single. I think this song is the best produced Katy song, the instrumental is unique and paired with her beautiful vocals and deep-hearted lyrics, with a slight double entendre, it captures everything I love about her. It is also one of the fan-favourites, which I think just goes to show that this is in fact her best single.
✿ Best album track. ♪ If You Can Afford Me ♪
I chose this as Katy's best album track because I think it represents her more Pop-Rock side best. Katy has always been a playful artist with cheeky lyrics, I think this shows off her sassy side and it has a great sing-a-long factor.
✿ Worst song. ♪ Circle The Drain ♪
This is Katy Perry's worst song. The production is boring, her vocals are slightly whiney and the lyrical content is tacky. I find that this is a low-point on the flawless Teenage Dream album. The only plus point is when she sings "****ing"
✿ Best video. ♪ Last Friday Night ♪
I love everything about this video! It shows that Katy is a very funny woman, the 80's throwback feel is amazing. Not to mention great use of actors/cameo's and the iconic Rebecca Black making an appearance. It is pure Katy, cute, funny, unique, beautiful.
✿ Most underrated. ♪ Waking Up In Vegas ♪
A lot of people seem to forget or overlook this Katy song. It has a great video, shown off in my avi. It's very catchy, has a great production and it tells a great story of being a mess, which we can all relate to
✿ Song she should cover. ♪ The Other Side ♪
Let's be real, this song is pure Katy-inspired! The Teenage Dream style instrumental, the fun and playful lyrics. It's very dancey and catchy, Katy would slay the vocals and would make the song a huge hit! I could totally see her nailing this song.

1. Don't Hold Your Breath
This is undisputedly her best &*most successful solo single to date. In this empowering pop jam Nicole takes the time to show off her emotional side, her incredible vocal range & to declare her independence. She tells how she has broken free from a 'spell' (the*relationship) and taunts to her ex-lover singing :
"What you did to me
Boy I can't forget
If you think you're coming back
Don't hold your breath"
As the track gets nearer to the end she belts out the chorus over an assault of melodic violins.
2. Killer Love
This song is one of those songs on an album that obviously needed to be released but were doomed to living life as an album track. In this song Nicole gets fiercer than she's ever been and demands that her 'lover' gets to the bedroom and 'pleases her'. Giving almost S&M vibes she cries out :
"So go ahead punish me
If that's your fantasy
-
It's crazy how you got me lost in pleasure & pain
-
It hurts so good
You keep me dying for more"
For a short moment near the end the track gets slightly more tame as she sings about how she "doesn't want to survive this killer love". This shows how the bad parts of the relationship make the good parts even better.
3. Boomerang
This is undoubtedly Nicole's absolute WORST song (this was reflected by its chart performance). The verses & the pre-chorus are the epitome of generic pop music that dominates top 40 radio in 2013, but where other songs succeed, this one falls flat on its face. Throughout the song it's extremely monotone & it comes as no surprise that this track is produced by Will.i.am. The song feels like its not big enough for her and that she's restraining from her full potential, by taking the easy route for a quick hit
4. Wet
Nicole isn't one to be known for her revolutionary music videos, but Wet is evidently the best of a bad bunch. The set is filmed in a car park where Nicole is supported by backup dancers. She revisits her Pussycat Doll days as she dances with intricacy & elegance.
The music video starts with Scherzy (yes I did just call her Scherzy) hiding out from the cops wearing shady clothes and aviators. She also dons a black leather corset as she sings behind a window pane with rain rushing along it. From here she proceeds through a hallway as her dancers are molesting the wall. They then relocate to an empty swimming pool where they do a tribal style raindance. Scherzinger soon flees from the cops but soon after they discover the word 'WET' spray painted on the wall.
Overall this is her best music video because it is fun, creative, incorporates various themes of dance & has an interesting storyline.
5. Puakeneki
Well.. This song is pretty amazing but as one of the leftovers of My Name Is Nicole it never seems to get any amount of attention & this is further proven by the fact that its not even popular enough to be findable on YouTube. This is a great song & the peculiar sound effects and instruments used make it unique & special in its own way.
6. Evanescence - My Immortal
This song has a nice, calm kinda atmosphere that would fit well with Nicole's voice & she also has the range to pull it off. It would be good for her because she is very capable of conveying the emotion of a song in her voice & she could demonstrate this if she covered My Immortal.
Hello, so I got Destiny's Child and right now I'd like to answer these questions about my new fave.
1)My new fave’s best single is……… "Say My Name". I remember bopping to this song when I was younger and thanks to you I got to listen to this again. When I listen to this song, I get chills, it so amazing and their voices are fantastic. When this song came out, people didn’t really even know who Destiny’s Child is, but after this they became the biggest girl group in a history of the world. The lyrics are great and a lot of people still bop to this, so it’s definitely the best single! When will other girl groups serve something like this, my answer is never. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQgd6MccwZc
2)"Through With Love" has gotta be the best album track, the song is just too good. I don’t understand why this song wasn’t a single, it’s so catchy, funky and emotional. I never get tired of this song, amazing. + it’s very beautiful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxCui-ZGYR4
3)It’s very hard to name the worst song, but I gotta. Do I? The worst track from Destiny’s Child is "The Proud Family". I know you might think, b***h what kind of flop answer, but I really can’t imagine a bad song by these girls. But this is horrible, I always skip this song, I really can’t stand it. Sorry if some of you like it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_mKQEbrDpw
4)"Bootylicious" is the best video for sure, it’s so f**kin sexy and wild. These b****s served some major hotness, so frickin hot. They really shaked those asses for this video and everything in this video is amazing. The outfits are also great. Beyonce really is bootylicious. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyYnnUcgeMc
5)Their most underrated track is "Girl". The song is soo good and the girls voices are on spot. Fantastic song, I don’t understand why this flopped. The video gave me Sex and the city teas, the gorls were her for queen Kelly when ha man was threading her like nothing and in the end Kelly got his ass. I just don’t understand why such an amazing track got paid s***t… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIszesDaK9U
6) Song they should cover is "Baby Love" by The Supremes. Because it fits them so well, they also are very alike with the Supremes, they could totally do this song justice. I would totally love to hear their version of this song. Just imagining Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle singing this song gives me shivers. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23UkIkwy5ZM
So that's it I guess, it was amazing to remember these girls again, thank you much for giving me Destiny's Child, it was fun and great to do some research about them again I did the best I can, hope you like it

Best Single - Ride
Lana does not bring out singles because she is thirsty for those top ten hits like the other girls, because who else sells 3+ Million albums without a hit single? No one, just Lana, and Ride is her most artistic, wonderful, spiritual, and best single she has given to the world.
Best Album Track - Without You
Hands down, this is the best album track she has ever served, and I can't believe she didn't want to shoot a music video for this. The song makes me feel very, like old Hollywood movie, that bridge is EVERYTHING. I know this a song that will turn people into fans!
Worst Song - Lolita

1) Love on Top
Damn. What kind of masterpiece is this? The best of 4, her best album. That says a lot.
Only Beyoncé could have done a song like this. It deserved a better video tho.
2) I Was Here
The song deserved to be #1 for the rest of the weeks. Such a beautiful, touching ballad. I get emotional when I listen. Don't you? One of her best songs.
3) Videophone
That really sucks. WTF? And the Gaga's remix got it worse. Bey, sis, you can do MUCH better than this.
4) Get Me Bodied
Damn, the video is so flawless! She looked great, as always. And let's not forget, she's teaching how to dance in the video! Sad the song is not very good, but whatever. It's hot!
5) Run The World
I think this is really underrated. I mean, I love it. It's production is perfect. My bop. I don't get why everyone hates it. Shame.
6)Christina Aguilera - Hurt
I really can see Beyoncè siniging this. Powerful, beautiful song. Her vocals could easily do this.

Y'all ready for CiCi? Bet not.
Anywho, this Grammy-Award winning superstar has made a mark in the music industry through her four albums (turning five this July 5th), spawning 19 singles - 5 of which hit the top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100. Her sophomore album, Ciara: The Evolution, hit #1 in the US as well as her debut single, Goodies. Also, back in the day, ATRL had CiCi ranked as one of the modern day pop girls along with RiRi, Bey and Brit, way back when GaGa was still unknown. Going back, she also released an EP, a video album, and two compilation albums. The second compilation album was entitled Playlist: The Very Best of Ciara. Now, I, as a fresh one-week-only Ciara stan, shall show you my take on my playlist tribute to the queen.
01. CIARA's BEST SINGLE: 1, 2, Step (featuring Missy Elliott), from her debut album, Goodies
I'm starting it off sexy with queen Cici's sophomore single, 1, 2, Step featuring Missy Elliott. This for me is Ciara's best of the best. First reason: "This beat is automatic supersonic hypnotic funky fresh." The beat! The beat that makes you want to just get up and dance. The soulful beat and the wicked ass melody that just gets you hooked. Admit it, you bopped while listening to this? Second, this was the song that introduced me to the queen. Thus, it has a special meaning to me making the SONG itself more special to me. And of course, its chart performance was proof enough of its effect on the people. Peaking as far as #2 in the BBH100, 1, 2, Step's effect wasn't just for me but for a lot of people as well. Plus it was certified platinum in the US and Australia. It may not be her most successful single, but it is one of her best, if not her best.
02. CIARA'S BEST ALBUM TRACK: I Run It, from her fourth album, Basic Instinct
Ciara can be known for unexpected songs: songs that would shock you because it's not what you'd expect from the title. I Run It is a perfect example. I was expecting some Work, Run It (Chris Brown) type of song, but mother of God, it's a ballad! And it slays! This song would've been a perfect single choice and the amount of slayage it gave is just too much. It gave me Dance For You chills. I mean, who cares bout repetitive lyrics? This song is awesome as a ballad but still retains Ciara's sexy vibe. Ciara's finest has been bestowed
03. CIARA'S LEAST BEST: Like A Surgeon, her third single from her third album, Fantasy Ride
Every artist, whether s/he is the best, has its flaws. Like A Surgeon is Ciara's. I mean, the hospital metaphors for sex is just creepy and unnecessary. Even critics and fans would agree that this would be the biggest flaw in Fantasy Ride. It was also a weak choice for a single. Proof? It never did well. It was never promoted and never had a music video. I never even heard about this single before. I don't know bout you, but this song is the queen's weakest.
04. CIARA'S BEST MUSIC VIDEO: Work, her last single from her third album, Fantasy Ride
Ciara's Work which features Missy Elliott is my choice for her best music video. Even before I stanned for her, this was definitely one of her best. The construction theme fits the song perfectly. The sexy dancing (and dancers) and the cinematography was also epic. And of course, don't forget the turquoise dress.
05. CIARA'S MOST UNDERRATED GEM: Keep Dancin' On Me, from her third album, Fantasy Ride
Keep Dancin' On Me is one proof that she is an underrated balladeer, just like I Run It. She can keep up on the same level as the superstar pop girls and can even exceed some, but still, she remains hidden from the spotlight. I mean, this song is just plain amazing. It would've been great if it were released. Sure, maybe it will not do good but with a sexy black and white music video and some delicate dancing, it could have the same effect as Dance For You had, (just like I Run It).
06. CIARA SHOULD COVER: Crazy In Love by Beyonce, from her album Dangerously In Love
Imagine the center of the stadium at the halftime of the Superbowl with the lights off. Turn on the lights and the queen stands. Turn up the music but instead of 1, 2, Step or Goodies or Love Sex Magic or Work, this song plays. Then, the crowd goes wild. I don't know why but this is the first song that came into my mind while listening to The Evolution on repeat. Ciara's dancing and singing skills fit this song perfectly, it may not exceed Beyonce's original, but the epicness of that version is beyond awesome considering the song's fame and of course, Queen CiCi herself.
So that is it. Hope it's not too long. This is my Ciara playlist, y'all!
Kavish
Being a stan of One Direction for a whole 2 eras now, I can proudly call myself a Directioner.
I can go on and on as to why One Direction is great, or how they changed my life, but I
believe in the language of Music. Therefore, I compiled a playlist of some songs
that I thought memorable from One Direction's discography, with some little
details as to why I chose them. I hope that this will get you to know them.
Let's get started!
Definitely the best single for three reasons:
1. It is a medley of two 70s classics, 'One Way or Another' and 'Teenage Kicks', and they blended them perfectly and brought a modern touch to it.
2. It is a Comic Relief charity single. I believe that all humanitarian efforts from artists should be appreciated, and by doing so, One Direction showed that they care about world problems.
3. They not only showed that they can modernize and mix old songs, or be generous, but they also extended their musical ground via this song. It starts as pop, and evolves into a punk rock sound ~ something we had yet to hear from them. It Rocks!
This song is actually Louis Tomlinson's favorite track from the album 'Up All Night', and I can guess why. This song is about an unrequited love, and sure, they have other songs with that theme, but none come close to this. Behind their clear vocals, one can feel the emotions behind, accompanied with a beautiful mid-tempo production. One of the first things that touched me was the lyrics, which I could totally relate to, and I think when a song speaks to you that much, it becomes personal, beautiful, and a favorite of yours. With this song not being a single and stated as a Fav from a lot of Directioners, it indeed makes of it the best album track.
Determining a bad song for me is not only production or vocals, but also the lyrical content. While One Direction seems to have a good production for their songs, 'C'Mon C'Mon' makes me uneasy lyrically. Firstly, it is basically about happily cheating, and coming from a band that sing love songs and appeal the most to girls, I doubt that the latter will fully appreciate that. Secondly, the song contradicts their hit single 'What Makes You Beautiful' in the way that 'he' is finding flaws in one girl and preferring another. Even though the song has a catchy tune, these two points are enough for me to class it as their worst song.
Chills and Feels. That's when you know that a video is good, and that's what I got from this video. As a fan, there is nothing more comforting to know that your favorite artist/band connect and reach out to you. This video is from their tour, and you can see how emotional the fans are. Seeing such happiness, craziness and dedication proves not only that a bond exists between One Direction and their fans, but also that in such a little time, they became such a worldwide phenomenon. Needless to point out that the song that they are performing is so beautiful, thus adding to the heartwarming experience. A loving and touching music video.
Looking at critics' reviews for the 'Take Me Home' album and engaging in Directioners' conversations made me realize how overlooked this song is. While I love it, there seems to be a lack of appreciation, maybe because it's the last track of the album, and that it is overshadowed by other strong tracks. However, 'Summer Love' has its own shine to me. It's a love song which is both romantic and heartbreaking at the same time. The lyrics are beautiful, the song well produced, and it touches me because I connect to it, and I can relate. Definitely one of their most underrated tracks.
Being a modern boy band, I think it would be great if One Direction covers a song of another period of time's boy band. This will not only show that they respect their seniors, but also that they are in touch with past music and that they want to keep paving the way for future or current boy bands. It will be their way to pay tribute to the Backstreet Boys, since they are one of One Direction's influences. Moreover, I can totally see One Direction singing this song since they are comfortable with that theme, and many 'stan wars' may end if they do a cover of the Backstreet Boys, since they are always being compared or criticized.
Thank You !
Kiddo.

1) your new fave’s best single
Believe:As Long As You Love Me feat. Big Sean - I'm a sucker for a good urban knock & that's exactly what Justin gave me. The mixing on the chorus isn't too heavy, yet it's current enough to keep up w/today's sound. Big Sean lends a good enough verse to close out the song. From the lyrics, to the arrangement to the vocals, this is my favorite Justin single.
Quote:
2) best album track
Believe Acoustic: Nothing Like Us . This track is representative of the 3 things lacking in Justin's single catalogue. Depth, substance & vocal showcasing. He does well capturing the emotion the song gives. It's not overdone, or contrived like some of his other ballads. It's simply superb. I do wish it were a little bit longer, and had a more dramatic change in chords or keys, but you know....they say less is more. Either way, it works.

3) worst song
My World 2.0: Baby feat. Ludacris - From the repetitive, lazily constructed chorus to the monotone, 1 dimensional melody of the song, I just can't. How it did as well as it did...I'll never know. End.

Believe: Boyfriend - Here it is. The world premiere of that inevitable transition from "boy phenom" to "full grown force". We see an older, sexier, racier Justin woo the hearts of MILLIONS of girls and boy's while dougieing for FILTH & doing donuts in some random parking lot. Yes, this is his best. Take it how you will.
Quote:
5) their most underrated or overlooked song
My World 2.0: Overboard - While the song is nothing innovative or groundbreaking, it's still a solid duet w/pretty impressive vocals & word play to match. I don't know if I'm able to call the song underrated seeing as how I knew NOTHING about the Biebs prior to this challenge, but when compared to other mainstream duets (No Air, Superhuman, etc..) it is as much as a contender as the next song. I'd never even heard of Jessica Jarrell before this. I love how well their voices blended. At times, I found it difficult to differentiate between the two. It's heartfelt, soft & beautiful. I use.
Quote:
6) a song they should cover
This is gonna sound CRAAAAZY, but I would love to hear him cover Musiq Soulchild's Love. I'd be in a different key, seeing as how their chest voices are in different keys, but I live for the softer balladeer Justin. He has quite a few songs on Believe: Acoustic that makes me believe his tone & personality would fit it perfectly. I could see him on Ellen w/his guitar & his bang now. Timberlake could never.

Dance With The One That Brought You
I absolutely LOVE this song, and I love how easy it was for me to get into it. I love the overall message behind this song. The line in the chorus, "You got to dance with the one that brought you, Stay with the one that wants you, The one who's gonna love you when all of the others go home" really struck home with me, because the message was so powerful. You have to always stick by the one that was always there for you, because they should always be there for you.

song on this album was a hit for me, and i'm proud to say that I REALLY enjoyed this album.
Best Music Video:
Up!
This video was FUN. I loved the production and it looks like Shania just had fun with the entire thing!
(Let me know if all the collapse menus don't work because some were acting stank while I was viewing the preview)
Most Underrated Song: MAN! I FEEL LIKE A WOMAN
This has ALWAYS been my favorite song from her. Like ALL-TIME FAVORITE. And through some research I found that this song didn't even go #1 on the Billboard Hot #100 chart, and I feel as if that this was UNDERRATED cause this song SLAYS!
Song She Should Cover: JESUS, TAKE THE WHEEL
This has been one of the most heartful, soulful, and POWERFUL country songs i've ever heard in my life. And I can say it's always been my FAVORITE country song. I think Shania should cover this, and quite frankly, I think she'd SLAY it!
As a pop song, "Love You Like A Love Song" hits all the right strings. It perfectly blends dance-pop with dubstep, while still carrying that breezy bubblegum pop feel that Selena portrays in her vocals ala Britney Spears. I never grew to like Selena's discography as a whole, but this is a standout piece in her catalog. It's refreshing and although repetitive in lyrics, will always have me coming back for more wondering, "will she ever top this?"
Best Album Track
It's catchy, fun and relatable; all the components for a great pop song. When I was going through her discography, this was one of the only tracks that really stood out to me. It being instantly catchy was one of the obvious reasons why, but also the lyrics as well. Having gone through a similar situation of what she's singing about before, the song immediately clicked with me. Yes it's on the generic side, but it does generic right.
Worst Song
There are literally no redeeming qualities to this song and I'm honestly shocked anyone thought this song was a good idea. The immature ~I don't care~ vibe of the track reminds me of Avril Lavigne and not in a good way. It sounds like the type of song you'd you hear from an 8th grade garage band. The verses are bad, the chorus is bad, the bridge is painful. It's just a big fat "No" on all formats and should've never existed.
Best Music Video
She looks stunning, the scenery is amazing (although a bit too literal) and the cinematography is her best yet. While I had wished the video would've had more of a story line, the video for "A Year Without Rain" served its purpose which was to be cute, sweet and straight to the point. The video also doesn't come off as desperate or wannabe-ish like LYLALS (which tries too hard to be "cool"), Round & Round (cheesy) or Naturally (boring). Overall, this is a good video that gets the job done and pales all her others in comparison.
Most Underrated Song
I was reading through the Selena base the other day and noticed that whenever they talked about their favorite songs, they never brought up "Sick of You". The songs they chose (her "rock" songs or "risque" songs) just came off forced, but this one doesn't. It has relatable lyrics and top notch production (just like My Dilemma), but still ends up being ignored. It deserves a lot better than what it's given.
A Song She Should Cover
I think Selena should cover this song because she's going through a similar situation as Britney when she was her age. Selena's transitioning from a teen star into a full fledged adult artist right now. Number wise she is already a 'woman', but the media still sees her as a 'girl'. She's probably feeling confused right now on whether to move on from her 'kid' image or to stay with it. "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" describes that feeling of uncertainty and angst that most girls feel when they hit their older teens/early twenties, which is why I believe Selena should cover this song. It's also a song that fits Selena's range in vocals since her voice is softer than most.
Her best single is definitely You Belong with me, is more country than pop, which is already good considering the sold out music that she's releasing now, but still catchy enough to make a hit and is probably her only single that she's kinda flirting with someone. A lot of teenage girls can relate with this song because not most of them are blessed to be part of the It Girls, they also have a secret crush with someone, we all do. Taylor was smart, in this moment she knew exactly how to make hits without selling her soul to the devil and this song gave them hope, hope to all those underdogs and it also was nominated for three Grammys, I miss this TayLord.
The best album track is Enchanted, I just love it, the way this song starts like a slow ballad but it grows. You can feel the magic in the lyrics, when you are falling in love with someone even though you just meet him or her, love at first sight. This is a fairytale, I would love to see a music video of it, what the hell is wrong with her? She missed a moderate hit
I mean, really? REALLY TAYLORD? I absolutely hate this song, I knew that she was desperate for the #1 but not that desperate, she's such a sell out! This song is meanless, I would never thought someone like with "amazing" writing skills would release something so bad, this is the type of song that was meant to be for Rebecca Black. Yes, the song is a bop but come on LORD!
4) Best music video: Back to December
Well, it's not like I had many choices. I saw her videos and this was is my favorite, this is her best video it is simple but that's what makes it beautiful and I love her with bangs and messy hair, it suits her. Is probably because this is the firs video that I can actually believe she's vulnerable and regrets dumping Lautner (Dumb bitch! Who wouldn't regret, right?) If you don't stan for the LORD you probably won't love or understand all those little details, they all have a meaning! And inspired Rihanna latest video
5) Their most underrated or overlooked song: Tied Together With a Smile
I can't believe what a brilliam song is! Why she doesn't write real problem like this one? **** off with your ex-boyfriends Tay! Her debut album is extremely underrated and this one is a very mature song that I didn't expect this, a serious topic. She can win respect with songs like this one
6) Song they should cover: Beautiful Cause You Love Me
Like I've been telling you all this time, Taylor hasn't released a ballad that talks about being in love, truly in love since Crazier, I think people would like to finally side this side of her again, I definitely would and it also is more mature than all of her previous work, it would kinda help her to win a title of a serious singer, not just an immature little girl that is the victim her ex-boyfriends

Best Single:Blown Away
The reason why I choose this song because the feeling and the flow throughout the song.
The rhythm and the instrumental is great.
The lyrics is perfection and it also match perfectly in the video
Best Album Track:Someday When I Stop Loving You
Omg. I just love this song. When I break up with someone in my life, I can listen to this song to move me on. And forget about the things that he have done to me to break up with him.
Worst Song:Thank God for Hometowns
I just dislike the song period. It doesn't do nothing for me.
Best Video:Blown Away
This just goes back to the best single. I am so happy that I Carrie pick "Blown Away" for her single.
Basically its showing about a girl that lives in a bad home with her abusive father. They really don't get along with other. The father is always up drinking and then her father is pass out on the couch. Instead of the girl helping him while the tornado approaching there way, she decides to leave him on the couch and waits for the tornado to blow him away.
Most Underrated Song:There's a Place for Us
To me I feel like the GP need to listen to this song. This song is very encouraging. It really means living in a great peaceful place were we belong.
KING and QUEEN.
I chose the fun, carefree third single from Animal as the best from her singles catalog simply because it still has a feeling of freshness after three years, and it shows Ke$ha at one of her most innocent moments. The whole not caring about what anyone has to say or think, as long as you can spend time with the person you love because you're addicted to them like a "drug" message is youthful and just fun to listen to. A pop song done right.
Between her two albums and one EP, Ke$ha has her fair share of gems when it comes to album tracks. I went with the heartbreaking ballad, "The Harold Song", because it showcases some of her best songwriting and emotion. The powerful change from the soft, piano filled verses from the thumping chorus where she sings "they say that true love hurts, well this could almost kill me" definitely grabs your attention. For an artist that's known for mainly party songs, it's refreshing to hear her in her more sentimental moments, and the one that I find myself always going back to is "The Harold Song".
Every artist has their duds, and the most noticeable one for Ke$ha is her childish little number about an old man hitting on her and her friends. While some may find the spelling of "dinosaur" in the chorus catchy, at the end of the day, the whistling and all the noises makes this a mess. It just isn't necessary and shows no artistic maturity at all.
Best Music Video: Take It Off, from the album Animal
Ke$ha generally has consistent music videos, and I think "Take It Off" takes the cake as her best one. It's also probably my favorite of her singles, next to "Your Love Is My Drug". The video is just interesting to watch; a party at a run-down motel, people turning into glittery dust, Ke$ha being showered with this colorful glitter at the bottom of an empty pool. It definitely is entertaining.
"Crazy Beautiful Life" has always been one of my favorite Ke$ha tracks, and since not many agree with me, it think it's fair to say that the song is underrated. The beat is great, the sing-talking during the verses is done well, and it's the first time where she offers some insight about her life: "I know I'm the new bitch on the block / I've been through my sketchy phases, been broke, been a ****** waitress / But I'm not now, guess it worked out, got here by running my mouth". The song tells where she came from, what she's trying to do now, and where she wants to be in life. The shortness of the track leaves you wanting more, but I think it's one of her best moments.
Song She Should Cover: Devil's Haircut by Beck, from the Album Odelay
Ke$ha sighted Beck as one of her influences, and since she's been interested in more rock-influenced songs recently, I think she should cover "Devil's Haircut". The lyrics are well written, and I think it would fit Ke$ha's style nicely. The song is also fun, but it leaves you thinking. I feel it would be great for Ke$ha. She could definitely do it justice while putting her own spin on the song.

The Jennifer López Playlist: The Real Stan Edition
You guys asked us to make a playlist of our new fave but it was a bit hard because I re-discovered how catchy JLo songs are but after a few plays I was able to make a good playlist of this underrated Latin Queen.
1) My favourite single
Waiting for Tonight' from her debut album: On the 6
This catchy dance-pop song was actually written by a group called 3rd Party in 1997 but Jennifer recorded a version of this song and even though it was a cover the song peaked at #8 + it became one of her signature songs. It inspired other latin artists like Paulina Rubio to make this type of songs but they will forever remain in JLo's shadow.
I prefer the spanish version of this song (Una Noche Más) because it is more catchy imo
2) Her best album song
'Invading My Mind' from her seventh studio album: Love?
Jennifer López proves again that she is able to create major dance hits without using Pitbull (like some people believe ), this time she teamed up with RedOne and Gaga and some other irrelevants to produce this club banger. The lyrics are one of her most deep lyrics but who cares when are tearing up the dancefloor to this
It really caught my attention the first time I played it, hope you guys enjoy it the same way I did.
3) Her worst song (if that's even possible)
'Papi' from her seventh album: Love?
Believe it or not, it is possible for JLo to have a rotten apple in her discography. This song became #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart and was praised by critics but I find this song so cringe worthy, starting with that awful name and being so generic, a huge no no. She should have released 'Invading My Mind' instead the sad thing is that this was the final single of the album.
4) Best Music Video
'I'm Glad' from her third studio album: This is Me... Then
Some fans would say 'Dance Again' should be in this spot but I don't think so. The Flashdance inspired video shows Jennifer handling hard choreography while looking hot (just look at that body during the casting part). The song is actually a bop, it will make you want to dance too.
5) Most overlooked song
'Baby I Love You' from her third studio album: This is Me... Then
This is seriously one of Jennifer's most beautiful songs, it has that old R&B vibe and sets the mood for love. Sadly, this song tanked because the GP wasn't here for that kind of music but it still proves how she is able to make this kind of music, the video is so simple yet it shows how beautiful she is
6) A song she should cover
'Je L'aime à Mourir' from Shakira's fourth live album: Live from Paris
This cover by Shakira is really beautiful and I know it seems so weird to cover a cover but I can imagine Jennifer Lopez singing the song somehow like Shakira or she could do it the way her ex-husband did and make a salsa version, I'm sure she would be able to sound great because she has the voice for it.
Kitt, I liked you. But why join the competition only to quit after the first challenge? You should have known that you wouldn't be able to handle it between this, Top Member, and real life.
But best of luck though. I'm sure you would have boosted our team's scores if you stayed.
