5.26 million viewers with a 1.4 demo, jesus that's barely any more viewers than the season 3 finale. This really is going to be the last season they better give us a proper finale with Emily WINNING and not some grim ******** or Victoria killing her or something

I haven't watched much of that show, but from what I seen I don't get the appeal for that show.

Revenge has been very inconsistent tho. The 2nd season put a lot of people off and then Season 3 delivered for a while and then faltered again. I think people are just getting tired of the same old and didn't expect Season 4 to be any different (though I suppose we can't really say otherwise yet since we've only seen 1 episode), but I'm not surprised at the ratings.

I hope ABC can improve promo or do something to convince people to come back to the show cause it is indeed worrying. I still want this to be the final season, but it doesn't deserve to end with such low viewership.

Another issue is that Revenge is MUCH better suited as a cable show. The plot moves way too slowly and it's hard to keep interest. Many episodes the past two seasons have left a feeling that the plot barely went anywhere. It's also doesn't leave any feeling of "Wow, I want to watch that episode again" except for like, the finales. If it had 13 episode seasons instead of 22, it would just be a way better show.

I will be thoroughly pisseD OFF if David ends up being an actual terrorist or something. It will ruin the entire series for me.

The only way I'd even entertain watching a plot like that is if Victoria and Emily team up to take him down or something.

Watch, David will be revealed to be apart of the Initiatve all along. I predicted it. Emily and Vic will never team up, fans have always wanted it but it's never happened. It will probably be Emily vs David and Victoria in the end.

I don't think David really knows the full extent of Emily. His face when she walked into the old house and he was hiding looked like he was shocked to see her. I'm still just so curious as to what happened and he's been doing this whole time. I know it will be revealed soon enough, but I just hope it's not something stupid.

Plot twist: Emily wakes up from a coma after being shot by Daniel in the season 3 mid season finale. Revealing that everything that happened in season 3 part deux and beyond was all just a dream.

Sadly, I could see these scenarios happening.

I am glad, however, that they seem to have completely dropped that "Emily is having blackouts" storyline. Thank God. I will be happy to forget that ever existed.

In all seriousness though, the show got sooo much better at the end of S3 because they really had nothing to lose. They went balls to the wall and just totally went for it. So given they're current ratings, I think we could see more of that this season. I fully believe this will be the final season and will be the craziest and best one yet.
