Two of Rebecca's best performances were Sweet Dreams and Show Me Love. I think she would be good at making dance music with a soulful edge. That would help her be more of a pop star too.
Matt should make romantic pop music with some R&B/Rock undertones, some Bruno Mars type music. Do you think he will flop like the other male winners?
One Direction should make pop rock music, a long the lines of Jonas Brothers' 'When You Look Me in the Eyes'.
IMO, Rebecca dropped the ball with her final performance. If she would have NAILED Distant Dreamer, she would have had a serious moment and could have won. There was only 6% between her & Matt.
I think the entire top 5 has the ability to sell records. This is my first time watching an entire season of the show and I loved it
They did end up with a great top 5 after certain people lasted far longer than they should have
lol
But year all 5 should be signed and do well I hope!
WOW I am shocked with the voting percentages and that Matt was the front-runner from the beginning
I'm kindda just going through the voting table in my head, and it seems that with the exception of Matt, the people were actually voting on performances every week
This is the second year I watch the X-Factor fully, and I must say the finalists this year have been more talented and more exciting than last year's!!
In my opinion:
1. Cher will be an international star
2. One Direction will receive great success in the UK just like JLS, but I don't see them popular else where
3. Rebecca has the potential of being as big (or even bigger) as Leona Lewis, when Bleeding Love came out
4. Matt is safe to say, he will receive great success in the UK, but I can't predict whether he will end like any other male artist out there now or he will stand out and sell singles/albums.
5. Mary has the potential of becoming Susan Boyle 2.0!!
I can't wait for her to hit the U.S. She's just so cool and unique; she has the potential to be huge. Obviously, it's not a guarantee. But she brings something new to the table, and that automatically will distinguish her and bring attention. I, for one, am definitely looking forward to buying her album.

He's the one who needed to win the most.
