I agree, but Simpsons was always a bigger show with a wider intended audience. It's a lot harder to maintain the dominance they had than it is to continue carving out the anti-establishment niche à la South Park. Simpsons is already more iconic and influential than SP could ever be lol. They contributed so many years of success and great writing. I do wish they had stopped on a high note, but who knows, maybe one day they will have a renaissance.

Hopefully they go and hire new writers, because the animation is good, the substance is lacking
the tumblr fomos exploded. the way they acted like florence didn't look like a man with a wig on and lana didn't look 6 month pregnant going to a quinceanera.
